Saturday we were at the Valley for the final night of points. The Marcus Bros. Racing team was in a close battle for positions 13-16 in points. Josh was fast winning his heat race and starting 5th for the main. An early caution for Josh, had him go pit side and back out to the rear. A hard fought race, rallied to a 13th place finish which should clinch 14th in points. (Sorry for the lack of photos as dad was working the track). Congratulations Josh Marcus and the 91m team on a good season. Next up will be the Lebanon Valley 200. We would also like to thank the Billets Family Racing from the Dragway who approached us last night and graciously supported Gavins ongoing racing efforts. Thank you!!!!

Foxtrot recap. Friday Gavin just ran sportsman to get it ready for the big race. He struggled but ate some soup winning the D and C mains, finished 5th in the B main. Saturday: Ryan ran Sportsman and Losi Sprint. He unfortunately ran into some issues after breaking his car so a last minute change had him run the 4G of Gavins for his main. With no experience on that car or controller, he held his own in the E main getting as high as 3rd but finished 5th. Losi C main he came home 4th. Gavin ran Sportsman, Losi Sprint and Losi Late Model. Losi's he finished 3rd in the Late Model C main and a DNS in the Sprint C main. Sportsman was good again with a stacked group of drivers we sat 12th putting us into the B main. He raced his butt off making into a transfer spot for the 150lap A main. This was interesting as this also included a mandatory pit stop. Gavin took home 8th when it was all said and done. I'm so proud of the boys and how they overcame obstacles and did the best they could. Thank you to everyone that continues to make this possible week in and week out. B&P Racing Marcus Bros. Recap for the week. Full Throttle: Gavin took 1st in Street Stock and 4th in Small Block (running his sportsman). Dad was 5th in Losi Sprint Car & Late Model. The Stand: Gavin 2nd in Sportsman, Dad 6th in ADK Losi. Lebanon Valley: Josh overcame some early issues to take 15th with the Big Block. Sunday was the Summer Series finale for I41 (moved to FT due to the rain) Billy 4th in Crate Late A & 3rd in Sportsman B mains. Dad 4th in Novice B main and 7th (DNF) in the Enduro. Gavin has a good qualifying effort overall locking into all 4 A mains (just didn't get the finishes we were hoping for) 5th in Crate Late, 6th in Sportsman, 4th in Losi Sprint, 8th in Losi Late Model, and 2nd in the 100 lap Enduro. Thank you everyone for the continued support. Next up will be The Foxtrot 200 weekend with Gavin and Ryan racing....

Ran Full Throttle tonight. Gavin was 1st in Sportsman and 5th (DNF) in Losi Sprint. Dad for the first time raced Losi Late Model/Sprint finishing 5th and 6th respectively. Tomorrow stsrts our vacation so no racing till next week. Thank you everyone for the continued support and following....

Summer Nationals recap. What a long and amazing race weekend we had. Friday Billy tried but couldn't get it figured out, and with the longer night and lower mains, took a DNS for Sportsman/Big Block. Gavin finished 4th in Street Stock C main and 2nd in Sportsman A main. Saturday saw dad run the losi late model for a few practice laps. Billy wa 3rd in Big Block C main and 6th in Sportsman D main. Gavin again made the Sportsman A main taking 5th. After all the points were added, Gavin was crowned the Summer Nationals Sportsman Grand Champion!!!! We have a long list of people/sponsors to thank (sorry if I missed anyone).
