Tonight is an easy recap - only Tyler was running. We can’t remember the last time we had only one car out there! He finished 15th/14th in his two features. This next couple weeks are big for him as he graduates high school. Congratulations Tyler!

We also included a shot of Jackson, who has been volunteering with the Mini Wedge program at both Kalamazoo & Berlin this year after aging out. If you can’t drive one, might as well boss the kids around.

It’s hard to believe next weekend is already Memorial Day. Who’s ready to see some Mo Davis on the track?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there, but a special shoutout to the women in our Davis circle:
Mo’s wife & Derek’s mom Dixie, Allen & Tony’s mom Cindy, Allen’s wife Jeni (mom to Tyler & Ava), Tony’s wife Yen (mom to Cheyenne, Elliott, Maci, Allison & Nola), and Derek’s wife Katie (mom to Brayden, Jackson & Harper).

The big news yesterday was Mo’s new #21 car. While it did not make the track due to being underweight, at least it got out of the garage. It was a big offseason project, taking a j***y 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT and turning it into a David Pearson tribute car. He can’t WAIT to take her out in two weeks when the Sporties are back on.

Last night’s results:
#️⃣3️⃣3️⃣ Allen - P8 in feature 1, P9 in feature 2
#️⃣8️⃣8️⃣ Tony - Heat WIN! DNF the feature due to a radiator hose
#️⃣3️⃣8️⃣ Brayden - P9 in feature 2, P8 in feature 2

Next weekend Tyler will be running his Limited Late, and Ryan Newman will be on the track in Modifieds. See you then!

Oh yeah, baby! 🏁 Welcome welcome welcome to the 2026 Berlin Raceway season! Did you miss us as much as we missed you?

With Papa Mo’s new ride still not done, it was Allen, Brayden and Tyler who strapped in for the Icebreaker last night. Everyone kept their wits about them, cars stayed intact, and first night jitters got shaken out in a relatively uneventful lineup of races. We were ever so thankful for sunshine & blue skies and look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in these machines this summer.

#️⃣3️⃣3️⃣ Allen - P9 in feature 1, P6 in feature 2
#️⃣3️⃣8️⃣ Brayden - P10 in feature 1, P7 in feature 2
#️⃣3️⃣3️⃣ Tyler - P18 in feature 1, P14 in feature 2

Next weekend the Reveal The Hammer Outlaws are back and so are all three of our guys mentioned above. Come one, come all - racing is BACK!

Happy Berlin Banquet Day to all who celebrate! Allen finished 5th in Limited Lates and Jackson was crowned Champion of the Mini Wedges. Only 106 more days until the IceBreaker!

We interrupt our regularly scheduled offseason to report on Jackson’s weekend at the Rumble in Fort Wayne. The Cook boys spent the last two days in Indiana’s Allen County War Memorial Coliseum doing a little racin’ for what was Jackson’s final time in his #38 mini wedge. The next time he’ll be behind the wheel is for Driver’s Training in a few months when he turns 15.

Friday he won his first heat, got 4th in his second heat, and finished 6th in his “A” feature after his kart got bumped and flipped on its side. We’ve never seen the kart flip over like that, since it’s always been the heaviest one with the heaviest kid. He was a little surprised! (We couldn’t add the video of it in the post, so we put it in the comments.)

Today he got another win in his first heat, a 3rd in his next heat, and a 3rd in his final “A” feature of the weekend. They are on their way home with a little more hardware just in time for Christmas.

Happy Birthday to our patriarch, Mo Davis! We love you, Pops.

I'm not sure if we're even ready to make our last post of the season, but alas the time has come.

Saturday was a quick and dirty one-feature race line-up for all our guys. Allen & Tyler were up first in Limited Lates. Allen finished the race with a P6, and Tyler in P12 after a little scuffle on the backstretch. Brayden took the T-Bird out for it's final bow before she's scrapped, but pulled in early since his earbuds weren't working and he knew the field would be coming. Jackson had his Mini Wedge out there for the national anthem and the championship celebration. All the family was together in the pits. It was a good way to close 'er out. Another year done.

So many things are up in the air for next year. Jackson has aged out and will be trying to find his next move, Allen has his eyes on another Limited and of course a Sportsman has to be rebuilt, Tyler is setting goals now that he's found his groove, Mo is going to be redoing his car for next year, and Brayden has some changes to make too after the wreck last week. Tony and Elliott, who knows. Who knows where any of us are going to end up come next spring. That's the beauty of each new season. New opportunities, clean slates, and the hope that we will be better than we were the previous year.

As always, we want to thank our sponsors for their continued support. Our family gets to be together each weekend because of you. We get to hang with our multiple generations and make these memories all because people pay us money to turn left. What a gift we have. We don't take it for granted.

And to our fans - we love you and appreciate each comment, like, handshake, visit & wave. Thank you for being as on fire for this as we are. We have so much fun with you!

Until next time...
