“…Make His Face Shine upon you …”
What does this blessing mean to you and for you?

Here’s a consideration:

“This blessing is an appeal to God to look favorably upon His people and to grant His presence, blessing, guidance, and grace.

The word “shine” (Hebrew “or”) means, “to shed light” or “illuminate.”

God’s light shines on us with His love, mercy, grace and salvation.

God’s face is a metaphor for his loving presence.”
(alabastergraceministries.org)

There are several Scriptures that include this phrase, “His face shine upon you.”
Intriguing! 🤔

At the time, all we could see was the pain,
the uncertainty, and the weight of it all.

Looking back now, I realize something I couldn’t see then:

It wasn’t just an ending.

It was a transition.

God was closing one chapter while quietly preparing the next.

The challenge is that when you’re living through a transition (I mean "𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜-𝙩𝙮𝙥𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙡), it rarely feels like a beginning.

Most of the time, it just feels hard.

And when life feels hard, the enemy loves to get loud.

Sometimes it’s straight-out attack.
Other times, it’s him slipping in and taking advantage of the cracks—our mistakes, or even the choices of others that ripple into our lives. Either way, when you’re walking through it… and doing everything you can to walk it out with the Lord… 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.

But here’s the good news: when the enemy becomes obvious, it’s not his best card. It’s his last. 🙌

And right there—when it feels darkest—God lays down His ace.

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀. Truth accomplished on the cross and with His resurrection, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗻!✝️ 𝗦𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘄, He’s never scrambling to catch up. He’s already far ahead, and His hand always wins.

𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁:
David facing Goliath.
The Hebrew children in the fire.
Daniel in the lions’ den.
Paul and Silas in prison.
John alone on Patmos.
Jesus on the cross.
Even Jesus in the tomb, then…✨

Every time it looked like the enemy was holding all the cards… it was actually the setup for God’s breakthrough.

So maybe the question for us is this:

Have you ever had that quiet thought…
“𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸..."

Not in a dramatic way.
Just… a subtle drift.

You’re showing up.
You’re doing the things.
But something feels… off.

I’ve been there.
More than once.

And what I’ve learned is this—
it’s not just about direction…
it’s about 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘎𝘰𝘥.

Because when I’m trying to figure everything out on my own,
when I’m carrying the weight of “getting it right”…

That’s when the pressure builds.
That’s when my joy fades.
And frankly, stress rises
(𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘯𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘭).
But that’s exactly the time and the place
I need to return again and again.

And every time…
I find Him already there…
waiting for me. 💛

📖 “𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙞𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜; 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙢, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩.” 🙏

Not rushed.
Not demanding.
Just present.

And when I lean back into Him…
His peace settles me.
His presence steadies me.
His voice becomes clear again.

Sometimes He leads me to pause.
Sometimes to move.
Sometimes to simply be.

It really does feel like a waltz… 💃
Not striving.
Not guessing.

Just… step, rest, step.

🕊️

If you’ve been feeling a little off,
a little unsure—
maybe it’s not that you’re lost…

Maybe it’s just an invitation
to come back into rhythm with Him. ✨

One morning, in my quiet time, the Holy Spirit dropped this thought into my mind.

It hit my spirit as really true.

As I pondered this sentence and reflected…
I remembered many times and what this felt like.

Those hard moments when the stress is so high;
I can’t seem to tread water…
I feel like I’m drowning in the overwhelm.

Sit with the Lord.
By faith, gaze into the eyes of Jesus.
Wait and recognize His presence.

Or maybe I have that worship music on;
Singing at first — or maybe not.

And His presence comes.

Little by little, I realize His nearness has an effect.

He gets bigger.
My cares and problems fade.

Then come those feelings.
Peace.
Calm.
Love — oh that amazing Love.

That feeling is amazing.
That feeling — such freedom!

In His presence — saturated with His love and peace — freedom comes.

Cares disappear.

Clarity… and all that matters remains.

That is…
Jesus.

PROXIMITY • POSITION • POSTURE
Draw close, and closer still.
I want to share the “whisperings” of My heart.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗫𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗬 is close — close enough to see, hear you.
But also Proximity to fully receive My love — grace, and all I have for you.

𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 yourself is an intentional decision only you can make.
Positioning yourself daily — even moment by moment.
Watch and be aware, My child. There will even be need of intentional positioning in circumstances as they suddenly arise.

𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘. Posture may seem the same as position, but hear the difference.
𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩.
Remain rightly aligned with My Word, My Kingdom, My Son.
When you discover mis-alignment, 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙮 𝙎𝙤𝙣 to bring 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 — and He will.

Now add the key 🔑
𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 with Me!

“…From Me. Through Me, and back to Me.”
( reference to Romans 11:36)

“For it is God, who works in you, both to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”

This verse stopped me today —
Romans 5:3–4.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿.
𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲.

Pause for a second.
Think about it.

Everyone wants hope.
But hope isn’t usually born on the easy days.

It’s forged.

In the showing up.
In the staying steady.
In choosing consistency when it would be easier to quit.
In the moments that stretch you more than you planned.

Because perseverance…
builds character…
and character… births hope.

Not the fluffy kind.
The anchored kind.
The kind that says, “God’s still with me, even here.”

Pain isn’t pointless.
Obstacles aren’t punishment.
The obstacle is the way to growth.

We don’t glory in suffering because it feels good.
We glory because we’re not alone in it.

The God of the universe — Father, Savior, Helper —
walks with us through every hard place.
Turning what hurts into strength.
Turning what feels heavy into purpose.

So today…
if it feels hard…
keep going.

Perseverance.
Character.
Hope. 🤍

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆

January demanded a lot this year.
Extreme cold.
Broken rhythms.
Long stretches of just trying to get through the day.

So if February feels quieter—
less motivation, less momentum, more real life—
that’s not a problem.
That’s the 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

Most people don’t drift now because they don’t care.
They drift because confidence softens
and they start wondering if what they’re doing is “enough.”

Here’s the reframe that matters:

February isn’t the month you push harder.
It’s the month you 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁.

This is where consistency quietly outperforms intensity.
Where habits deepen instead of expand.
Where identity begins to carry you when motivation steps back.

Winter isn’t working against you.
It’s giving you fewer distractions
and more opportunity to solidify what lasts.

Progress doesn’t disappear when excitement fades.
It disappears when shame convinces you to stop.

So if you’re still here—
still choosing care over quitting,
still showing up in small, steady ways—
you’re right on time.

February isn’t a setback.
It’s a stabilizer.

And staying in the game—calmly, imperfectly, consistently—
is how spring strength is built. 💛
