Last. Summer. EVER! 🤯

I met .aguirre2 during his junior year of high school, over 6 years ago. It has been an absolute honor working with him and getting to watch him grow both as an athlete and as a person.

Very bittersweet finishing up our last workout ever before he enters his final year of college basketball 🥲

Thank you, Rob, for your unwavering work ethic (even when you dreaded being there), your dramatic commentary, and the countless amount of laughs! You will be missed and I can’t wait to see you kill it at ! 🏀

STRONG ≠ ATHLETIC

Why every G-FIT athlete trains muscle AND movement:

🔹 generates unilateral power
🔹 develops multi-directional movement
🔹 strengthens core stability & integration
🔹 improves landing and force absorption
🔹 helps strength transfer to sport
🔹 builds balance & coordination
🔹 reduces risk of injury

Lifting heavy (squats, bench, etc.) is important for building strength, but it MUST be paired with functional movement in order to translate into speed, power, & overall athleticism on the court 🏀

Tag a teammate who needs to be more athletic ⬇️

Do you struggle with balance? Try this ⬆️

Balance is really just your body’s ability to correct itself when it’s off-center. Poor balance typically stems from weak stabilizer muscles (ankles, hips, core)

Weak stabilizer muscles = weak foundation

Weak foundation =
❌ sloppy landings
❌ slow first step
❌ loss of power
❌ higher risk of injury

Strong foundation =
✅ quicker reaction
✅ absorb force without losing control
✅ transfer power more efficiently
✅ recover faster between plays

Can you make it through this entire drill without letting your other foot drop?? 👀

Why unilateral training matters:

- exposes and corrects muscle imbalances
- builds real game-transferable power
- enhances joint stability
- improves balance and body control
