Last night, Coach Lewis, Coach Shields, and Coach Rose witnessed an exhilarating semi-final round of the Men's NCAA Division 1 track and field championships. Auburn's 4x100 relay team ran an impressive 37.75 seconds. The Taylor twins from North Carolina A&T State University advanced to the finals in the 400-meter hurdles. Jelani Watkins failed to learn from Ajayi's experience, as he relaxed prematurely in the 200-meter dash and ultimately got beaten, effectively eliminating himself from the final round. Meanwhile, JaKobe Tharp made history by setting a world record in the 110-meter hurdles. It was truly an unforgettable night. Tonight, the women's events take center stage. Will we witness more record-breaking performances and thrilling competitions? Join us at 8 PM for our live commentary on Day 2 of the NCAA championships.

Consider a young woman with impressive athletic achievements: 11.08 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 22.73 seconds in the 200-meter dash, and 51.58 seconds in the 400-meter dash. These times would typically be associated with a professional athlete or an elite collegiate competitor, and might even be expected of a high school athlete of exceptional talent. However, the athlete joining us on Out the Blocks this week defies such expectations, as she is currently in eighth grade. Camryn Dailey joins us to discuss her experiences as an elite track athlete while navigating the challenges of adolescence, including household responsibilities and sibling dynamics.
