Hello all!

Couple things that have been on my mind since last football.

1. When I played we had trainers/ water boy/girl who were students at the school that taped us before practices, games grabbed water, filled water bottles. Etc. my question is do we have anyone in school that would still want to do this? Someone who wants to be a part of the program and help the boys and me? Feel freee to reach out if you’d like too! I’d like to have atleast 2-3.

2. I want to have someone keep stats on the sidelines or up in the booth. I’ve talked to someone about doing it but I think I’d rather have him record the game from somewhere so I can upload it into NFHS easier. Nfhs was anything but good when tracking stats. Some one who likes statistics. Preferably id like to see someone from the school do it as well but im up for anyone! Once again, reach out to me if you can. If you’re interested.

3. I’m looking if I can for someone to announce, someone to be wild and crazy up there. Someone to bring the game to life and get the crowd into it as much as possible.

Coach here. Couple of things!

1. Thank you for the tremendous support all year! It does not go unnoticed! I truly appreciate it and so do the other coaches and players.

2. I wanted to let y’all know we had some guys get All-Conference recognition and I wanted to share it!

Man oh man, what a freaking season.

Where to begin…let’s get it from the top.

I wasn’t sure I was the man for the job. I had family and friends encouraging me to go for the job but I truly didn’t think I was ready and I didn’t want to let everyone down.

And then we started. You all showed up for me, and always did what I asked. And for that I thank you.

From the very first game we had controversies!

And then week 4 we were 2-2 and then we lost the next two and it made us 2-4. And then we won 3 straights games. And finish the regular season 5-4 and overall 5-5. I know the playoff game didn’t turn out like you woulve liked but we were there! We had some untimely injuries. S**t happens boys.

I could not have picked a better 19 kids to coach and a better 7 other coaches to go battle with every night! I love each and every one of you guys. You guys have made me a better person. And I truly hope I have made you better young men. Ultimately at the end of the day, yes I’m teaching you football, but I’m really trying to teach you how to be productive members of society someday and respectful young man. I love each and everyone of you guys! Thank you for seniors. Underclassmen, we go back to harder for next year. Until next year.

Man oh man! What a night for some football!!

Neither defenses could stop each other in the first half!
36-34 Ridgewood at half!

We made some adjustments in the 2nd half and came out victorious!!

I love every one of you boys! And seniors I’m glad we could make the night memorable for you boys!

Big win for Galva last night.

We are now 3-4 on the year!

We took home the W with a big win over Peoria heights.

Jp Sloan caught 3 touchdowns!
Blake Stahl rushed for one!
Bub Murphy rushed for one!

Final score Galva 38. Peoria heights 12.

We need all the support this week as we prep for senior night against Ridgewood this week!
