Sunday 7/21/19: Kewanee Dunes

PLEASE try to be @ KD a minimum of 45 minutes before your tee time. Your carts will be marked and your shirts will be available by the bar.

* NO FOOD will be included again this year. Kewaunee Dunes has a full grill and cold beverages.
* 27-holes (9 Scramble, 9 Better Ball, 9 Alt. Shot),
* A bucket of range balls plus ½ cart per player is included,
* A Blue or Green colored team golf-shirt, raffle prizes for both for Kewaunee Dunes (includes 15% off Pro Shop prices) and US Golf, 6 other golf-appropriate prizes
*(Holes 1-9) Scramble - both players tee-up, team chooses "Preferred Ball" to play next, repeat.
* (Holes 10-18) Better Ball - both players play their own ball for each hole, best score per team is carded.
* (Holes 1-9) Alternate Shot - one player tees off odd # holes, the other tees off even # holes.
* Every TEAM has 1 Mulligan per 9 (Scramble, BB, Alt Shot) EXCEPT ON THE GREENs - use it or lose it (No Provisional-Mulligans; this will be explained Sunday AM)
* Carpool as you see fit

I created a score sheet that will be in the Pro Shop. After every 9-holes, your group is supposed to update it. The scoring options are:
* 1: if your team took the best 5 of 9 from the match
* ½: if your halved the match
* 0: if the other team beat you.
Chris McKean will be in the last foursome so I’ll ask him to take a photo of it (after he updates their score) and text it out to us on the course.

Greens fees and shirts for the 2019 Quad Cup competition (7/21) are paid, and the course is in fine shape...

Here's a quick look at what each player in the field at East Lake will need to do to claim the FedExCup. The trophy, and its $10 million prize, will be awarded at the conclusion of the TOUR Championship. * = A possible tie for the FedExCup that would result in a sudden death playoff

The 2018 Quad Cuo was decided by a close match between the Red Team vs. the Blue team @ Fyre Lake on 7/29/18... Blue won...

The 2018 Quad Cuo was decided by a close match between the Red Team vs. the Blue team @ Fyre Lake on 7/29/18... Blue won 8.5 to 6.5. The ten 2018 winners were enshrined on the Cup, which underwent a Maintenance Outage (QCM01), which relabled the master plate and coordinated the winners plates since the first year when Chuck Rumfelt put this together in 2014...

Team Blue - James Ebenrotn, Will Strickland, Tom Wojick, Kevin Dewalsche, Brian Beach, Jeff Melvin, Matt Howard, Dan Parker, Matt Leuschke, and Dave Duncan will be enshrined as the 2018 Quad Cup Champions. Congratulations to Dan Parker for earning a " #2 Poop-Putter" for the biggest choke of the day! A great time was had by all... until Chris got stung by a bee at the 28th hole!
