Galt Gators Swim Team The goal of the Galt Gators swim team is to promote opportunities for both recreational and competitive swimming for our Galt area youth.

Through the program, we encourage each individual to grow to their fullest potential. The program is offered to boys and girls, 4 through 18 years of age, who possess the desire, dedication, and minimal swimming capabilities (25 yards of free-style, unassisted). The Galt Gators are a non-profit organization made up of very dedicated volunteers. Without these volunteers, parents like you, the swim

meets and the entire swim season would not run smoothly or effectively. Please volunteer your time and be a part of your child's accomplishments.

💚🐊Meet of Champs Recap 🐊💚

This past weekend, our Galt Gators traveled to Elk Grove to compete in the Meet of Champs, where the top swimmers from across the area came together for an incredible weekend of racing.
Our swimmers represented Galt with determination, sportsmanship, and heart. Many of them achieved personal bests, dropping time from their original seed times. As a team, the Galt Gators finished 21st out of 33 teams in the Small Team Division—a fantastic accomplishment!
Congratulations to our standout performances:
🏅 Reese Peacock – 3rd Overall High Point in the 6 & Under Girls division.
🏊 7/8 Girls Freestyle Relay Team- Raelyn Akers, Stella Ingram, River LaRoe-Sousa, and Tenley Peacock 🥇 1st in their heat 🏅 7th overall in Finals
🏊 Tenley Peacock qualified for the 25-Yard Butterfly Finals.
🏊 9/10 Girls Freestyle Relay Team- Sophia Ochoa, Natalia Sanchez, Penny Thomlinson, and Evelyn Williamson 🥉 3rd in their heat 🏅 9th overall in Finals
🏊 Rosa Hausauer qualified for the 13/14 Girls 50-Yard Freestyle Finals.
🏊 Maxx Thomlinson qualified for the 13/14 Boys 50-Yard Freestyle Finals and the 50-Yard Backstroke Finals.

We are incredibly proud of every Gator who competed this weekend. Your hard work, dedication, and team spirit were on full display. Congratulations on an outstanding championship meet!
