Jacob deGrom allowed only three singles over six innings, Justin Foscue hit the first of Texas' four home runs and the Rangers beat Cleveland 10-0 on Sunday, giving them three consecutive series wins for the first time this season.

Two-time Cy Young award winner deGrom (5-4) got his 101st career victory with six strikeouts, including the last four hitters he faced, and two walks. The right-hander is 3-1 with a 1.26 ERA in six home starts, and 43 strikeouts in 35 2/3 innings.

Foscue's two-run homer in the first put Texas up to stay. Josh Jung, Wyatt Langford and Michael Helman also went deep.

The Rangers (32-33) took two of three games against Cleveland, after the same at St. Louis since a three-game sweep of Kansas City at home last weekend. That 7-2 mark is their best nine-game stretch under first-year manager Skip Schumaker.

Cleveland left-hander Joey Cantillo (4-3) struck out seven in his five innings, but gave up seven runs and the first three Texas homers.

OFFENSE GETS GOING IN GUARDIANS WIN

José Ramírez doubled in three straight at-bats and drove in the go-ahead run against Cam Schlittler in the fifth inning before the Cleveland Guardians pulled away for a 9-4 victory over the New York Yankees on Tuesday night.

Kyle Manzardo launched a two-run homer off Schlittler (7-3) in the fourth and rookie Travis Bazzana hit a three-run double off Camilo Doval in the eighth. Bazzana and Brayan Rocchio each had a sacrifice fly for the Guardians, who totaled 12 hits and scored their most runs since May 17.

Paul Goldschmidt homered and knocked in all four runs for the Yankees, who lost for only the second time in eight games. They played without slugger Aaron Judge, who has a bone bruise in his upper right rib that is causing pain in his right shoulder.

The three-time MVP missed his first game this season. He underwent testing Monday that revealed the bruise and was consulting with a team doctor on Tuesday.

Ramírez entered the game in an 8-for-45 skid but doubled in the fourth, fifth and seventh. His first double came two batters before Manzardo homered into the right-center seats for a 3-2 lead.

BROWNS DEAL GARRETT TO RAMS

The Cleveland Browns traded two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams for two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Jared Verse and multiple draft picks, the teams announced Monday.

The Browns received a first-round draft pick in 2027, a second-round pick in 2028 and a third-rounder in 2029 in what is one of the biggest trades in NFL history involving a defensive player.

For the second year in a row, the Browns will have two first-round picks and they currently are scheduled to have 11 picks in the 2027 draft, including three fourth-round picks, two fifth-round picks and two seventh-round picks. They will be armed to move around the draft board if there's a player they deem worth acquiring.

Garrett, 30, is coming off a season in which he set the NFL's all-time single-season sack record and is regarded as the best defensive player in football. He also is under contract through the 2030 season, at a time when the Rams were grappling with which of their own defensive standouts to pay.

WILLIAMS CARRIES GUARDIANS TO WIN

Gavin Williams settled down after a choppy start and pitched seven solid innings as the Cleveland Guardians beat the Washington Nationals 3-2 on Wednesday to salvage the finale of a three-game series.

Williams (8-3) allowed one run and only three hits — all in the first three innings. The right-hander needed 24 pitches to get out of the first and then threw just 19 combined from the fourth through the sixth. He retired his final 13 batters.

Tim Herrin worked the eighth and Cade Smith gave up a run in the ninth before striking out two with the tying run at second for his MLB-leading 19th save.

Travis Bazzana, Chase DeLauter and Angel Martinez each had two hits for Cleveland.
