Big congratulations to NAIMA MIAH from Woodway, TX 1 our newest SAWUSA Ambassador!

Naima is headed to the 2027 Tour and the United World Games in Germany, Italy, and Austria. Shes been playing since age 3, competes for Atltico Soccer Club, captains Midway HS JV, and brings serious discipline in the classroom with a 95.31 weighted GPA (4.0).

Meet your 2026 Costa Rica Adventure Tour Manager: Kendall Salas

Kendall is one of the reasons our tours feel LOCAL — not touristy. He’s with us the entire trip (same hotel, same bus, same daily schedule) working alongside our coaches to keep everything running smoothly.

A little about Kendall: Kendall is currently pursuing a degree in History and Geography, expanding his knowledge of Costa Rica’s rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and historical development. His passion for sharing these stories, combined with his engaging personality and local knowledge, makes him an exceptional tour manager who helps travelers connect more meaningfully with the country and its people.

UNITED WORLD GAMES… and meet the people who make the whole thing move. 🇺🇸🌍

Say hello to your Tour Managers for the United World Games: Anka and Almud

Tour Managers are a huge reason SAWUSA trips feel local, not touristy. They’re with us the entire tour to help the delegation run smoothly:

• Stay in the same hotel
• Ride the bus with the group
• Handle logistics + timing
• Work with coaches to keep the schedule on track

Almud: works in the cultural field, mostly writing, sometimes photographing. I life in Vienna since 10 years now, grew up in a small town further south in Austria.

Anka: active and supportive- has worked with SAWUSA in the past

Quick reminder of the mindset: we’re not tourists — we’re USA ambassadors.

And yes—please treat our Tour Managers with respect and kindness. It goes a long way.
