Steamer golf played in the LW/PC invite at Wolf Hollow GC in Lena today and the came away with a 4th place finish with a 333 team score. Owen Van Zuiden was your tournament champion today with a 4 under (67).

Lucas Porter led Rock Falls golf with a 35 in a win over Genoa-Kingston. Hayden Hulstrom shot a career-low 40 for Sterling, Paisley Van Zuiden led Fulton with a 43, Fulton's Kerby Germann had eight digs and nine kills in a win and more in Thursday's Sauk Valley roundup.

Fulton Girls golf went to Galena GC today and came away the win against Galena & RiverRidge/Scales Mound. They shot a team score of 197. The girls did an amazing job on this hilly golf course. Paisley Van Zuiden was your meet medalist with a score of 43.

Owen Van Zuiden broke the school record tonight in East Dubuque at Lacoma GC for 9 holes with a 6 under par 29. The previous record was held by Owen with a 30, shot last year.

The team also played well tonight and shot their season best 149. Freshman Luke Bush shot his best score of the year with a even par 35. This puts the Steamers 6-0 on season and 3-0 in conference.

Boys golf took on the North Course at Eagle Ridge tonight and came away with the win vs RiverRidge/Scales Mound. The boys didn’t have their best stuff, as the course and wind definitely played a factor but still shot a 171 on a difficult course. Owen Van Zuiden was the medalist tonight with a 38.

Steamer Boys finish Tied 5th in the Wayne Brinkmeier memorial invite at Byron Hills today with a score 324. We were only 3 shots out of 2nd place. Owen Van Zuiden was your tournament champ with an even par round 71. Owen birdied his last hole of day to force a playoff and won it on the 2nd playoff hole. Luke Bush finished with a 12th place finish with a 78 in a very solid tournament.
