Yesterday was INCREDIBLE! 🖤🔥

We had an absolute blast at our first ever double header with SFV Fer Sures and South Coast Roller Derby! Thank you both for making the trek to Fresno and for being so incredibly kind, welcoming, and showing such awesome sportsmanship. We couldn’t have asked for better teams to share the track with!

And of course, a HUGE thank you to our fans, supporters, volunteers, officials, and every single person who helped make this event happen. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours. 🖤

🏆 SFV Fer Sures took the win in a NAILBITER: 121–112!

🏆 South Coast Roller Derby took the win: 263–23. Definitely a hard-fought bout for us, but we had an absolute blast playing with such incredible skaters!

We are so proud of our team and how far we’ve come. This was our first ever home bout as a team, and it’s such a HUGE milestone for Ash City! We’ve come so far in such a short amount of time, and getting to finally host our own bout in Fresno was something really special.

Keep your eyes peeled for our Halloween Scrimmage on October 3rd!!! 🎃👻

THANK YOU! 🧡

This was our first-ever fundraiser, and we are absolutely OVER THE MOON with the support we received! We had so much fun skating our hearts out and seeing how much support there is for what we’re building.

Together, our skaters completed an incredible 3,327 laps and raised $2,751.75!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our donors who supported our skaters through their generous pledges per lap. Every pledge helped make this fundraiser a success.

This support helps us secure indoor spaces, set bigger goals, and take our events to bigger venues while spreading the word about the incredible roller derby community we have here in Fresno, our skaters, volunteers, referees, and everyone who pours their heart into this sport.

We are so grateful for everyone who believes in Ash City Roller Derby and Ash City Junior Roller Derby this helps us keep this sport growing.

We are SO excited to announce that Summer Fox Brewing Company will be the official after-party location for our September 5th bout!

We’re incredibly excited about this partnership because Summer Fox gives us a family-friendly space to celebrate together — with our Ash City family AND our visiting Teams! 🧡🖤

Immediately following the bout, we’ll be heading directly to Summer Fox for the after-party. So bring your family, bring your friends, and come celebrate with us after the action on the track!

Ash City's First Ever Skate-a-Thon Fundraiser is Here!

We're inviting our friends, family, and community to tune in, cheer us on, and help support Ash City Roller Derby from wherever you are!

There are two ways to pledge:

• Flat Donation: Sponsor a skater with a one-time donation of any amount.
• Per-Lap Pledge: Pledge an amount for every lap your skater completes, then donate after the event based on their final lap count.

Every pledge, big or small helps us continue building our league by supporting practice space, equipment, travel, and future opportunities for our skaters.
To make your pledge, scan the QR code or visit the link in our bio. You'll find all of our participating skaters listed on the pledge form, making it easy to choose who you'd like to support.

The entire Skate-a-Thon will be livestreamed, so you can watch every lap, cheer on your favorite skater, and follow the fun from wherever you are.

When it's time to fulfill your pledge, donations can be sent directly to $AshCityRD.
