Goldfish Swim School – Frederick is a state-of-the-art swimming facility dedicated to teaching children as young as 4 months old. It’s more than vibrant colors chosen to inspire kids. More than a curriculum crafted to not only teach kids to swim but also to build their character through guided play. More than a shiver-free pool heated to 90 degrees. There’s something more. . It’s passion. Not just a passion for kids or a passion for swimming…it’s a special passion for changing – even saving – lives by teaching kids to swim and be safer in and around the water. We use our holistic philosophy, The Science of SwimPlay®, to build life skills both in and out of the water using play-based learning in a fun and safe environment. In a class size of no more than 4 children to 1 swim instructor, children master the skills they need to be safer and confident in the water. Beginning as early as 4 months, children progress through a series of perpetual swimming lessons, graduating to higher levels of difficulty as swimming skills are mastered. Goldfish also offers special events like parties, Family Swim, accelerated Jump Start Clinics and our Goldfish Swim Force Team, catered to swimmers who have completed the Goldfish Pro Level. One day, they're a pirate searching for treasure. Next, they're a princess making a royal splash. And somewhere in between all that pretending, they're learning something pretty incredible: confidence.

At Goldfish Swim School, we believe play is one of the best teachers. Through laughter, imagination, and plenty of fun, little swimmers discover they can try new things, solve challenges, and believe in themselves.

🌟 Saturday Star Student: Harper H.! 🌟

We are so excited to celebrate Harper H. as one of our August Star Students! ⭐ Harper was nominated for an amazing accomplishment; finally putting her face in the water! 💦👏 This may seem like a small step, but for Harper, it is a HUGE milestone and something she has worked hard to accomplish.

Harper started her swim journey with us in Junior 1, and it has been so wonderful to watch her confidence grow from class to class. She is now working her way through Glider 1, continuing to learn new skills, and become more comfortable in the water.

We are so proud of Harper for facing challenges head on and taking that next big step! Keep up the fantastic work! ⭐🏊‍♀️💙

Ask a Goldfish kid what day swim lessons are, and there's a good chance they already know. 🧡

Because for many little swimmers, it's the day they get to see their favorite instructor, celebrate a new skill, and have a whole lot of fun.

Not every routine has to feel like a chore. Sometimes the best part of the week comes with a swimsuit and a splash. 🐠✨

Employee of the Month: Celebrating Our Senior Staff 🎓💙

This month, we’re celebrating a very special group of team members, our senior staff! 🥹

Many of them have been with us since our grand opening, and we’ve had the privilege of watching them grow from new instructors into confident, hardworking leaders and incredible role models for our team.

Some are heading off to State College for their next chapter, while others are staying local and continuing to make an impact here at Goldfish. No matter where life takes them, we are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and the people they’ve become.

Thank you for all you’ve given us along the way. You have each left your mark on our school, and we are so grateful to have been part of your journey. 💙
