Did you know we work with the scouts? Last weekend, we worked on the cycling merit badge with a local boy scout troop. A great day of mountain bike learning of course trail riding!

Our community is continuing to grow - please join us in welcoming the Northshore Off-Road Bicycling Association (NORBA) to SORBA! 🚵‍♀️

Based on the Northshore of New Orleans, NORBA develops and maintains the Bogue Chitto State Park Mountain Bike Trails, the premier mountain bike destination of the Gulf South. They also host the annual Roller Coaster of Love MTB Fest and support women riders and military veterans through specialized committees focused on education, outreach, and group rides.

With NORBA joining the SORBA community, Louisiana becomes our eighth state in the Southeast. This milestone expands our reach and strengthens our mission that everyone should have access to the social, physical, and mental benefits that mountain biking provides.

Members can start joining or renewing their NORBA membership in the SORBA app beginning Monday, November 17. 📲

We’re proud to welcome NORBA and look forward to the impact they’ll continue making on trails and riders in their community.
