We’re delighted to welcome our new ‘26-28 Teaching Assistants! We were missing Kiera and Anna but are very happy they will continue to be TAs this year!
The Teaching Assistants are a special part of MDA’s experience. They provide extra support for students and teachers in the lower school, helping with the smooth running of classes, welcoming the young dancers every day and being a consistent role model for them throughout the year.
As the assistant teachers gain more experience they develop communication, class management and teaching skills. Confidence builds while they establish closer links to students at different levels within the school.
We’re proud of these students and know our younger dancers are going to gain so much from having them in their classes! 💫❤️👏

Day 3 and everyone is sounding wonderful!
🎶
There is much more besides the Sound of Music to look forward to in Friday’s 3pm showcase! The students have prepared sections of Matilda (Junior group) and The Little Mermaid (Intermediate group).
🎭
They have had an equal training in dance, acting and singing this week. Musical theater demands mastery of all 3 areas.
