Fort Wayne Spacemen The Fort Wayne Spacemen provide a full junior hockey pathway, competing at the Tier II level in the NCDC and Tier III in the USPHL Premier Division.

All based out of the PSM Icehouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Congratulations to Sumner Wood on his commitment to play NCAA D3 at Rivier University! Sumner was a goaltender on the 2025-2026 Spacemen Premier team and spent one year with our program.

“My year in Fort Wayne was one of my best years in hockey, from practices to games, and everything in between. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with such a great organization. Thank you to all my coaches and teammates who made my time so special” - Sumner Wood.

“Sumner played a huge role in getting our team off to a hot start earning a number one ranking in the league. He was consistent all year long and showed that when he played at his highest level he was capable of earning a spot at the NCAA D3 level. Sumner we’re extremely proud that you reached your goal and thank you for all the hard work you poured into our team last season!” - Coach Schrock.

We are proud to announce the signing of 2007 defenseman, Tobias Zembrodt to the Spacemen for the 2026–2027 season! The Indianapolis, Indiana native is lifting off for his first year in Space.

“Tobias comes from a very good Indiana elite program and we’re expecting him to shine offensively this season. He battled some serious injuries last year and we think he’s a kid that was overlooked and could play at a higher level. He’ll play a huge role on our D core” - Coach Schrock.

We are proud to announce the re-signing of 2008 defenseman, Cameron Wells to the Spacemen for the 2026–2027 season! The Clarksville, Tennessee native is lifting off for his second year in Space.

“Cameron was one of our hardest workers and most improved player’s last season. He is a guy that shows up to the rink everyday ready to give his all and ready to learn! At the end of the day that is all we can ask for in our guys. We are very excited to have Wellsy back for year 2 and very excited to see how much he develops this year!” - Coach Lamothe.

Congratulations to Gleb Rakov on his commitment to play ACHA D1 at Kent State University! Gleb was a goaltender on the 2025-2026 Spacemen Premier team and spent one year with our program.

“Looking back on my time with the Spacemen, I never had any doubts about the program. I’ve made lifelong friends from team. Fort Wayne will always hold a special place in my heart. The coaching staff did an incredible job allowing our team to succeed throughout the season. With people like them leading the way, I have no doubt the future of the program is bright. I will always remember and truly appreciate my time in Fort Wayne.” - Gleb Rakov.

“Charles came to our camp in April and opened our eyes. He’s a young man with a ton of potential who has a great understanding for the game. We’re excited about his upside and to watch him grow this year. He has the same competitive drive as his brother and former Spacemen Christopher Gingras. Congratulations to Cameron Rees on his commitment to play ACHA D3 at Duquesne University! Cameron was a forward on the 2025-2026 Spacemen Elite team and spent two years with our program.

“Fort Wayne was home to some of my best memories. I developed a lot. Both as a player and a person the two seasons I played there. The coaches and my teammates did a lot for me and I’m very thankful towards all of them.” - Cameron Rees.
