Fort Wayne Sport Club

Fort Wayne Sport Club Founded by German immigrants in 1927, the Fort Wayne Sport Club has been a cornerstone of the soccer community in Fort Wayne.

Built on tradition, teamwork, and community pride, we’re more than just a soccer club — we’re a family rooted in rich heritage. The Fort Wayne Sport Club was founded by soccer players who had come to the city from Germany. These young men, who played for the local industrial teams of General Electric, the Pennsylvania Railroad and International Harvester, met on March 18, 1927, and organized the Sport Club for “the promotion of Soccer Football and German culture.”
