At Southeast Medal Finals in Tampa Mary Arthur and Hakuna Matata were having fun of their own earning Champion in Novice Hunter 2', Reserve Champion in Novice Equitation 2', and 8th place finish in Novice Equitation Medal Finals. Congratulations Mary Arthur!

A busy week around the barn as Carole returned from vacation, fun lessons, ladybugs on the milkweed in the garden by the north barn, Erica heading off to College 1st semester FSU London, and Wednesday morning was spent with our outstanding sports medicine veterinarian Dr Gamboa taking care of a few of our equine partners. Ending the week with Mary Arthur and Hakuna Matata heading to Southeast Medal Finals showing with Greystone Equestrian Center. Thank You Wendy for allowing Mary Arthur to show with your crew this weekend.

A fun busy weekend in the ring on Saturday with fantastic lessons and a midday Barn Aisle Birthday celebration for Tiffany husband Zak and her horse Joey who share a Birthday (a few years apart of course). Sunday included leisurely hacking, good friends enjoying horsin around together and because our Winstar family loves any excuse to eat yummy sweet treats another Barn Aisle Birthday celebration for Erica who's birthday is midweek.

A fantastically fun, educational and truly enjoyable day spent in the barn aisle as Dr Juan Carlos Gamboa took care of the Sports Medicine needs of 9 of our equine partners. Always a privilege and an educational opportunity when Dr Gamboa comes to take care of keeping our horses feeling and performing their best! The horsey chitchat, laughter, education, and old stories shared simply making the day even more fun. Even foster girl Wheelie Warrior Becarra Rose came over to get in on the fun, convincing Dr Gamboa wife to playing ball with her.

Saturday morning lessons on rain lightening delay our newest visitors the black-bellied whistling ducks were enjoying the weather from on top of the barn roof, a brief pause in the rain mid-morning was the perfect opportunity for our injured old boy Be Lucky/Clover to get a little hand grazing in right in front of the barn before he enjoyed a bath, extra apples, sugar cubs and visits from a few old friends and his current little girl Ellie. Midday Mother Nature offered an opportunity for a few great lessons. Afternoon was perfect for good friends to spoil their horses and enjoy hanging out together.
