We are so excited to be welcoming Ann Schofield Ann Kennedy Schofield for this special workshop. Ann is a pelvic floor expert and has brought her wisdom to our YTT classes for the last 2 years… trust us, you want this info!
Most of us have never been taught how our pelvic floor works—or how it influences breathing, movement, posture, core function, and overall well-being.
Studies show that many people are using these muscles improperly, especially when stressed or anxious. A better understanding of the pelvic floor can improve body awareness, enhance performance, and support healthy bladder, bowel, and sexual function.
You will leave this introductory workshop with a clearer understanding of pelvic floor muscle function. You will learn how the pelvic floor naturally coordinates with your breath and recognize unwanted common patterns that can contribute to tension, weakness, or dysfunction.
Class will include a 45’ lecture format followed by 45’ practical application of pelvic floor muscle coordination during breathwork and yoga poses.
This class is suitable for beginners but instructors and advanced practitioners will benefit also.

Your next Be Free Breathwork opportunity is coming up next Friday night Sept 11th! Join Meisha Meisha Pon and Alexandra Alexandra Jenkins for a gathering of community and deep inner exploration to clear resistance, spark creativity, and stay centered.

Be Free Breathwork offers a chance to confront and release stress and trauma, allowing you to meet and heal parts of yourself that haven’t been nurtured. This practice helps break old patterns by exploring your body, emotions, and triggers in a safe space.

We’ll use breathwork and blindfolds to shift from the ego mind to a deeper, soul-led consciousness. Our three-hour session includes an opening circle, a 1-hour breathwork experience, journaling/art integration, and a closing circle.

Please bring a sleeping bag or comforter, a pillow, an eye mask (if you have one), a journal, and a snack. Self-investment: $40.

Queerness is a force that cannot be snuffed out — it springs forth from even the straightest of families. To the befuddlement of evolutionary biologists looking only for reproductive viability, q***rness sits in a mysterious and bold defiance. And yet, it is often left out of spiritual spaces or at best, added as an afterthought — as a third wheel in some otherwise “complete” heteronormative assumption of divine masculinity and divine femininity. But what if q***rness was just as holy? What if q***rness was a unique and necessary part of a spiritual ecology?

Come explore and embrace the sacred nature of q***rness! In this workshop, we will center q***rness as a Divine Mystery, court it, ask what wisdom it has to offer, and feel for our spiritual role(s) as LGBTQ+ people.
During our time together we will:

Engage ritual tools such as grounding, circle casting, calling upon q***r allies
Trance into the mystery of Queerness and explore the unique gifts we each have to offer
Open our channels of expression through writing, movement and song to let our sacred selves flow through
Affirm our inherent holiness as q***r people.

We welcome those who identify as LGBTQ2S+ and those questioning their sexuality or gender identity. If you’re wondering if you’re “q***r” enough, you are welcome here!
