It rained much of the week, but last Saturday was yet another perfect day for FDGC Tags. Twenty-nine folks came out for Week 4, including two new members as our 100th and 101st members for the year! The results:

Another beautiful Saturday at BT Collins for FDGC Week 3 Tags. The theme of the day was "ties" because there were A LOT of ties. 29 folks ignored the pros down at Stockton to join us. Results:

We learned of the loss of one of our beloved members, Paulo Mikelionis. This is such heartbreaking news for every person and community he touched. Before moving away, Paulo was at most Saturday tags rounds, with a giant smile and infectious energy. When he finished his round, he could be found re-playing the holes that didn't go so well, ever in search of personal improvement. We last saw Paulo at a travel round we played at Bijou and are thankful to remember that round, and him, fondly. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and other friends.

We kicked off the Summer tags with 35 players ready to take on the freshly goat groomed course. Our beloved Course Manager Chris Salcone aced hole 6 to nab the fully capped $300 ace pot!. We tried a couple of alternative placements on 8 and 17, so please let us know what you thought in the comments. Results:
