First release and first hunt of the season are officially in the books! 🐦🌾

We even got to bring our granddaughter along this morning to help release birds — making the start of the season a little extra special. ❤️

And have we mentioned how great these birds are?

Our birds are raised in large flight pens with plenty of grass and corn, giving them room to fly and develop strong, natural instincts.

Yes, we place the birds — but after that, it’s up to you and the dogs to find them. You still have to HUNT! 🐕🌾

🇺🇸 VETERANS HUNT

Hosted by Prairie Hills SD Chapter #970 and Coteau Prairie Chapter #830, the Veterans Hunt allows current and former military members to get outdoors, enjoy a day in the field, and connect with fellow Veterans!

📅 Event Schedule
• 7:30 AM: Registration at American Legion Codington County Post 17
• Participants will then travel to the hunting location, where trap shooting will be available before the hunt
• After the hunt, everyone will return to the American Legion for bird cleaning, fellowship, and a meal
• Event concludes by 1:30 PM
