WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A GROUP OF WALLEYE ANGLERS SHARE INFORMATION INSTEAD OF KEEPING SECRETS?

That's one of my favorite parts of Fishing Education Weekend!

Think about it. Instead of spending four days trying to figure everything out by yourself, you've got other anglers fishing different locations, trying different presentations and comparing what they're finding.

Each morning we put together a gameplan.

Each evening we talk about what happened on the water.

Where were the fish? What were they doing? What presentations worked? What changed during the day?

And most importantly, WHY?

That's how we learn to recognize patterns that can help us become better walleye fishermen.

Bring your fishing partner, bring your boat or come on your own. We'll work to help anglers without boats find available seats.

DO I NEED MY OWN BOAT TO ATTEND FISHING EDUCATION WEEKEND?

NO!

If you've got a boat and want to bring it, GREAT! We'll be fishing Saginaw Bay November 5–8, and your FEW registration includes a four-day launch pass.

But if you don't have a boat, don't automatically rule yourself out!

We have anglers who bring their own boats and others who need a seat. I work to help connect non-boaters with anglers who may have room.

And remember, FEW isn't just about spending time on the water.

We've got morning planning meetings, nightly seminars, daily fishing discussions and plenty of opportunities to learn from other anglers.

The cost is $550 per person, with three dinners included. Lodging is separate.
