Happy Friday! Please join us in congratulating our amazing Sporting Director Tom Saxton on a recent honor from the MSU Varsity S Club.

Coach Tom was awarded the 2026 Vanspybrook Lifetime Achievement Award for Retired Coaches. The honor is presented annually to the male or female MSU coach whose coaching career has brought great honor personally, and by reflection, to Michigan State University and its intercollegiate athletic programs. He was recognized for his 30 years leading the Women's Soccer Team and his continued work in Flint with Flint Style.

Congrats again Coach Tom! We are so lucky to have you!!

Did you know that a soccer themed mural is part of this year's Free City Mural Fest hosted by Flint Public Art Project?

We couldn't wait to see the work in progress and share some Flint Style merch with the artist, Wendy Feuquay Popko.

You can check out the mural yourself at the Urban Renaissance Center's Ubuntu Village (2414 DuPont Street). When you go, be sure to tell Wendy hello and tag us in your photos!

It's a hot day but we are going to play! We will make sure players get lots of extra water breaks and play shorter games with breaks in the shade.

- Returning players in Divisions 1-3 should head to their fields and find their coach. Division 4 players should report to the Clubhouse.
- If you missed Week One, check in at the Clubhouse.
- Be sure your players are dressed for the heat and bring lots of water.
- Clubhouse will be open to get a break from the heat!

See you at 5:30 in Mott Park!! Park in the Clubhouse parking lot or on Nolen Dr. (on the side closest to the lower fields).

Little feet need cleats!

We gave away DOZENS of cleats on Tuesday but we are in need of more! Your donation can make a HUGE difference!!

We are especially in need of the following sizes:

- Youth sizes 12 - 4 and 7
- Men's size 8-9
- Women's sizes 7-9

We have players ages 6-14, so we can use just about any size! Please consider donating your gently used cleats to players who need a fresh pair!

Don't have cleats but want to support the cause? We use cash donations to purchase additional cleats (new and re-sale) each season!

Thanks to everyone who has supported the Cleat Bank already this season, we couldn't do it without you!
