We are excited to welcome Djibril Diop to the CMU Men’s Soccer family!

A strong 6’1” CB/CDM, Djibril joins us after a successful season at Garden City, where he started 16 matches. Physically imposing, composed on the ball, and relentless defensively, he brings the toughness, versatility, and consistency needed to strengthen our squad.

We’re excited to add his presence and defensive quality to our team and can’t wait to see the impact he makes here at CMU.

Welcome to CMU Soccer, Mason Wilson! 🦅⚽️

Mason joins us from Willard High School as an exciting winger/forward who brings pace, creativity, and a dangerous attacking presence. A very quick player with the ability to beat defenders 1v1 and finish with a great shot, Mason has all the tools to make an impact in the final third.

His performances have also earned him a spot on the Missouri ODP Team, showing the level of quality and potential he brings to our program. We are excited to add another dynamic attacking player to the CMU family and look forward to seeing his growth.

A strong and reliable center back out of Willard High School in Missouri, Braedon brings toughness, leadership, and a winning mentality to the back line. A First Team All-District selection for Class 3 District 6, he competes hard, defends with intensity, and takes pride in doing the little things right.

Excited to have Braedon join the CMU family and continue his development at the next level! ⚽️🔥

Originally from San Francisco, California, Yeison joins us from Phillip and Sala Burton Academic High School and SF United FC. A dynamic left winger, he brings intensity, passion, and a relentless work ethic every time he steps on the field.

We are excited to have another talented player from the West Coast join the CMU family and can’t wait to see his impact in Eagle green.

Aiden joins us from Fort Zumwalt East High School and brings great versatility and quality to the attack. A dynamic player that can play anywhere up top as well as on the outside of the pitch, he constantly creates danger with his movement and ability on the ball.

We are very excited to have Aiden join the CMU family and can’t wait to see his impact in Fayette!

Micah joins us from St. Charles as an extremely athletic goalkeeper with great reactions, confidence in goal, and the ability to come up with big-time saves when it matters most. His shot-stopping ability, competitiveness, and work ethic make him a very exciting addition to the program.

Benjamin Gottig joins CMU Men’s Soccer after developing through the Argentine youth system with Central Córdoba (AFA). A dynamic attacking midfielder/forward, Benjamin brings creativity, intelligence, and a constant goal threat with his movement and quality on the ball.

His ability to find spaces, make dangerous runs, and create chances will be a big asset for us moving forward.

Welcome to the program, Samuel Vyda!

We’re excited to announce the signing of Samuel Vyda, a versatile center midfielder/center back coming from a high level of competition in the Czech Republic. 🇨🇿

Samuel is a composed, intelligent player who is excellent on the ball and brings real quality in possession. Defensively, he’s reliable, tough to break down, and reads the game at a high level—making him a complete presence in both midfield and the back line.

His experience competing at a high level overseas, combined with his work ethic and understanding of the game, will make an immediate impact on our group.
