Coach Jonathan Parrilla earned his spot on Puerto Ricoโ€™s Senior Team at 74 KG with a big win over NCAA D1 National Qualifier, Noah Castillo.

Coach Johnny will represent his home country at the Pan American Championships in Coralville, Iowa in May and at the Central American Games in the Dominican Republic in June.

The Central Methodist menโ€™s wrestling program turned in a historic performance this weekend at the Heart of America Conference Championships in Oskaloosa, finishing third overall with 150.5 team points โ€” the highest conference finish in program history.

CMU earned 8 automatic qualifiers and have 2 in consideration for a qualification via wildcard which will be announced Tuesday evening.
