🌧️ WEATHER UPDATE 🌧️

The golf course, driving range, and Bar & Grill will be CLOSED TODAY due to the rain and moist conditions.

We plan to reopen tomorrow! ⛳

Tomorrow we’ll also be hosting the Daikin Applied Tournament. The driving range will still be open to the public before 11:00 AM and after 1:00 PM.

Four Tournaments. Two Weekends. Golf for Everyone.

We’ve got four great events coming up at Legacy Golf! Whether you’re playing for a great cause, cheering on the Vikings, chasing a giant cup, or joining our seniors-only event, there’s something for everyone.

Drive Out Child Abuse – Saturday, September 26
Join us for a 4-person scramble with registration at 9:00 AM and a 10:00 AM sh***un start. Your entry includes golf, cart and a box lunch, followed by awards and a raffle. Most importantly, proceeds from the event help support child abuse awareness and organizations serving victims and survivors.

Purple & Gold Scramble – Sunday, September 27
Golf and Vikings football all in one day! Our 2-person scramble begins with an 11:00 AM sh***un, giving everyone time to finish before the Vikings take on the Bucs at 3:05 PM. We’ll also have Vikings raffle prizes, with extra chances to win for wearing Vikings gear, decorating your cart and more.

Legacy Big Cup Tournament – Sunday, October 4
Our 3-person Big Cup Scramble tees off with a 12:00 PM sh***un. Bigger cups mean more birdies, more aggressive putts and plenty of fun. Dinner is included with your entry, and an optional cash skins game will also be available.

Seniors Only Big Cup Tournament – Monday, October 5
Our seniors get their own Big Cup day! This 2-person scramble begins with a 9:00 AM sh***un and features age-based tees, prizes and an optional cash skins game. Lunch is included with your entry.

Due to the rain and potential for storms throughout the day, the golf course, driving range, and Bar & Grill will be CLOSED today.

We plan to resume normal operations tomorrow morning with full cart availability and normal play.

Legacy Golf’s 4th Annual Purple & Gold 2-Person Scramble

Join us Sunday, September 27 for one of our favorite fall events — the Purple & Gold 2-Person Scramble at Legacy Golf!

We’ll tee off with an 11:00 AM sh***un start, giving everyone plenty of time to finish their round and get settled in for the Vikings vs. Buccaneers kickoff at 3:05 PM.

Grab a partner, wear your purple and gold, decorate your cart, and come ready for a fun day of golf, Vikings football, and raffle prizes!

Entry Fee

* Public: $80/player
* PCC Member: $60/player
* Legacy Member: $40/player
* Optional Skins: $50/team — cash only

Vikings Raffle

Everyone receives a raffle ticket at tee-off, with additional chances to win by:

* Wearing a Vikings jersey or outfit
* Decorating your golf cart
* Purchasing a 6-pack
* Purchasing additional raffle tickets for $5 each

We’ll hold the raffle at halftime of the Vikings game, with Vikings prizes up for grabs!

⛳ AERATING… BUT MAKE IT TINY.

If you saw yesterday’s video, you probably noticed some pretty aggressive-looking holes being punched into our greens. 😅 That footage was from a couple years ago when we used traditional core aeration.

This year, we’re doing needle aeration instead.

That means much smaller holes, far less disruption to the putting surface, and a much quicker recovery. The process still gives the greens the air and relief they need beneath the surface — without leaving behind the larger holes you may associate with aeration.

The best part? The course is going to be extremely playable right away, and by this weekend you’ll hardly even be able to tell we aerated.

We’ll be back open with normal tee times Thursday. 🙌

A little short-term maintenance = healthier greens for the long haul. Thanks for giving our maintenance crew the time to get it done! 🌱⛳

You don’t need a team to sign up. Everyone registers individually, and teams are created through a live draft on Friday night at Inside Swing in Owatonna.

Draft Party: Friday, August 28 at 7:00 PM
Tournament: Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 AM
Entry: $100 per player and includes a box of balls and logo hat!

The top three teams after the scramble advance to a playoff to crown the champions.

It’s competitive, social, and a great way to meet new golfers.
