What a night. The chip tournament brought out 32 players to compete for the top spot. There was some impressive pool played by the whole field but the top 3 really put on a show. Tommy Farrow not only took the top spot but put together a record 22 game win streak in the process. He went into the final 2 with 3 of his 4 chips remaining. In the final with him was The Levi Ockman. He played lights out pool all night long. In the first game, after a little back and forth, Levi took it. In the end Tommy closed out their second game to secure the tournament ending Levi’s night in second place. Davis Nicholas also played great all night and knocked out some tough competitors to finish third. Thanks to everyone that came out and we’ll see you next Friday night.

Another Friday night, another great chip tournament. This weeks winner was none other than Austin Klavon. He’s been on quite a tear as this is his 3rd consecutive week finishing in the money. Amber McLeod finished in 2nd and John Shoemaker closed out the top 3. Congrats to these players and thanks to everyone that came to compete!! We’ll see you this Friday for the next one.

We had another great chip tournament last Friday night with 37 participants. We had some familiar faces in the top 3 with Tommy “2 Chips” Farrow taking the top spot again. Dale Schneider finished out the night in 2nd place and Austin Klavon in 3rd to finish in the money for the 2nd week in a row. Thanks to everyone that came to compete and we’ll see you this Friday!!!

Another great night of 9 ball at the Fairhope VFW. This week’s chip tournament had 33 players fighting it out for the top spot. In the end Tommy Farrow outlasted the field to lock in #1. Austin Klavon finished second and John Shoemaker closed out the top 3. Thanks to everyone that came out and we hope to you next Friday!!

Our first Wednesday Mixed Singles league closed out last night. We had an exciting and competitive session with 16 players battling it out every week. The payouts for the session will be next Wednesday, the 19th at 6 pm. After that we’re going to hold a tournament open to all NAPA players. This will be an open forum (open conversation between the teams and others) blind draw scotch doubles tournament. We accidentally stumbled onto this casual format after another payout night and everyone had a great time. The entry will be $20 per player and the payouts will be based on the number of teams participating. Come congratulate the top players and have some fun!!!

We concluded our first Masters Division session this Tuesday. Team Rack ‘Em dominated the field and took first place convincingly. Easy Does It fought hard and came out on top of the tight battle for second place. Thanks to everyone that played and we’re looking forward to the next Masters session starting on August 18th.

🚨🚨New Divison Alert🚨🚨 We will be starting a new division with a new format on August 25th at the VFW in Fairhope. This will be a Double Jeopardy Scotch Doubles Division. Each Tuesday the teams will play both 8 ball and 9 ball. Put together the best 2-5 player team that you can and come compete with the best NAPA has to offer!! Friday night’s chip tournament at the VFW was one of the biggest so far. We had 37 players and none other than Jason “Rammer Jammer” Hallman was the last player standing. Bubba Miller finished second and Amber McLeod closed out the top 3. Thanks to everyone that came out and we’ll see you next Friday. Congrats Jason!!!
