Song Tae Kwon Do Academy

Song Tae Kwon Do Academy Tae Kwon Do is the most popular martial art in the world and is an Olympic sport. We are family-oriented school with programs for students of all ages.

Tae Kwon Do is practiced by more people than any other martial art in the world. Developed in Korea, it focuses on punching & kicking, forms, board breaking and sparring. It was brought to the United States in 1956 and first appeared in the Olympics in 2000. It is known for its spectacular kicks as well as hand and defensive techniques. People of all ages and physical abilities can train and improve strength, muscle tone, flexibility, coordination, balance and aerobic capacity. However, Tae Kwon Do is both a sport and a philosophy which teaches students to discipline their minds while developing their bodies. Practitioners learn confidence, concentration, responsibility and respect. Classes are held Monday through Saturday for pee-wees, children, teens & adults of all belt levels, allowing you to choose the training schedule that best suits your needs and goals.

Once again, we want to say thank you for the generosity of our parents and students of the Song TKD Academy for their donations of school supplies to help the children of the Cesar Batalla Elementary School get off to a good start.

It's hard to see from the photo how much is there, but we were able to gather pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, erasers, backpacks and much more.

We wish the students a wonderful year of learning.
