Cole’s back and side are doing pretty good. The change in weather from Texas to Alaska to Nebraska to Colorado is messing with his sinuses. I do believe we have a “new” car coming. I’ve put my foot down and said he’s not racing nationals though. We’re heading to Memorial Stadium for the Boys of Oklahoma concert. To all our fellow drivers-stay safe and have some fun!

Sounds like the frame of the race car is beyond repair. Truly not what I hoped. Cole still doesn’t know how many times he rolled. I still wish there was a video of the actual wreck. On a good note, he made it out to the fly field with a couple of his RC Planes today!

Cole made it home from Alaska about 3am this morning. The cats were so happy he was home that they wouldn’t leave him and let him sleep well. Since he’s been gone so long, he’s heading out to the race car to finish stripping it and figuring out what all needs replaced. We want to wish our friends a good time at Eagle tonight!

Cole is still working in Alaska. A huge thanks Avid Realty for the VIP tickets to Eagle Raceway for a friend and I. It sure is different not being in the pits!

We’ve had people ask how Cole is and how’s the car. They got the car out of the trailer and started taking it apart. My heart is breaking. The two biggest problems are the engine block is done and the frame has some issues. I know that ultimately he would like to have the car ready for Race Saver Nationals but unsure it will be possible. The next goal is the weekend of September 11th and 12th with the URSS in Kansas.
As for Cole, he’s still stiff and sore. “I’m doing as good as I can”. He will be heading back to work in the morning.

Hi everyone! We have gained some new followers this weekend so I just want to take a minute to introduce ourselves.
Cole is a Texas transplant by way of Kansas. He grew up around drag racing, RC airplanes, and showing cattle. He had a micro sprint for a few years but after moving to Kansas for work, found it challenging to race them. He got a 305 Sprint Car and has been racing in his free time. When he’s not in the car, he works as a mobile jet engine mechanic traveling the US. You can also find him helping Tyler Davis and Gunnar Pike.
I’m Rachel. I’ve lived in Nebraska basically my entire life. I grew up watching NASCAR and then fell in love with dirt track racing when I moved to this end of Nebraska-Beatrice, Deshler, McCool, and Eagle. I also have a 19 year old daughter. When we’re not at the track, I like demolition derbies, concerts (our pic is from the recent Journey concert in Lincoln), rodeos, spending time with friends, volunteering as a Child Passenger Safety Technician, and working as a nurse.
Together, we have 2 cats-Whiskey and RumChada.
