The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions of hope.

Join Wes on the water for fun, laughs, and big trout.

The bite is on at Collins Lake!!!! Landed this hefty lightning trout this morning. Don’t wait to book your spot!

One of several salmon we caught today. This one is extra cool because this was Joseph’s first fish ever!

It’s been all about the kids lately!!! There’s still plenty of time to get your family on the water for some Landlocked Salmon Action!

Been a blur on the water for the last few days. Have had a decent mix of salmon and trout. The fishing continues to remain solid. Most of our fish are coming between 40-70 down on a mix of spoons and hoochies. The weather is perfect! Reach out if you want to get in on the action.

I have been running Garmin Live Scope Rear Facing Sonar for a couple of months now. Although the learning curve has been pretty steep at times, it has become a fantastic tool for dialing in a bite. Yesterday, I was solo scouting with the intention of running some new gear. Here's my first hookup of the day. I saw the fish strike on the sonar a second before the rod went off. This has become a common scenario. I hope to start sharing some of the things I have learned using this technology.

The smile is what it’s all about! Found a few takers today.

Flat calm and rising thermometer didn’t deter a cool group of guys from wrangling in a nice pile of trout and salmon today.

We released a few short fish and lost a few too.

Blades and hoochies 35-45’ down were the top producers, but we also caught fish on Apexes and spoons.

Folsom Lake Salmon!!!

We hooked this scrappy king on a green hoochie behind a blade 35’ down.

I am just starting to book trips. Reach out if you want to get in on the salmon action at Folsom.

Plenty of rainbows to be had too!

I had a 3 generation trip on the boat today. Jordan and Crew reeled in a pile of rainbows. It was a steady bite all day, but the trout are still a little finicky. We had a ridiculous number of short strikes.

I have a couple of seats open over the next few days if you want to get in on the action.
