3 Update: This custom community build is officially reaching new heights in Meridian, Idaho! 🏗️🌲
We are back on-site for Day 3 of this massive, custom tower installation for a brand-new community space. Now that the foundation is set, our crew is putting the heavy-duty engineering of our Treetop Trails series to the test as this incredible structure takes shape.
Watching these commercial-grade components click together perfectly is a testament to precision engineering. This isn't just a place for kids to play; it’s a multi-generational landmark built to stay safe, beautiful, and structurally sound for decades to come.
Here is a look at today's major milestones on the job site:
🛠️ Installing Section 2 of the Net Bridge: We hoisted and secured the next phase of our 13-foot-high walkway. Woven with ultra-strong stainless steel wire netting, it’s engineered for maximum high-altitude safety while giving kids an amazing bird's-eye view.
🏰 Assembling the Tower: The true centerpiece of this playground is rising! We are stacking the modular frame, featuring panel slats that mimic natural wood but are actually crafted from galvanized steel and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Zero organic material means it will never rot, warp, or splinter.
🔗 Connecting the Bridge to the Tower: A flawless fit! We structurally locked the massive net bridge right into the tower's backbone, creating a seamless, high-capacity flow of play built to withstand heavy daily use and extreme Idaho weather.

While local families are already enjoying the finished space, we're throwing it back to when our installation crew at Creative Recreational Systems was on-site in Durham, California, bringing this project to life.

Something extraordinary just happened in Irvine. 🌟
Near the Irvine Spectrum, a playground project years in the making has come to life — and the ground itself tells a story.
This 2,500 sq. ft. safety surfacing design is built from 625 custom rubber tiles, each one precision-cut from colored EPDM sheets using CNC water-jet technology.
The result?
A stunning illustrated map of Orange County embedded directly into the playground surface.
Kids don’t just play here — they explore geography, landmarks, and imagination at their feet.
This is what we call 4-Dimensional Play — interaction above and below.
A huge collaborative effort alongside The Irvine Company and Donald Bren helped bring this vision to life.
