Some bikes that come through our door are pumped to whatever tire pressure "felt right," not what's actually right for the rider's weight and the tires they're running.

Too high and the ride gets harsh, you lose grip, and you flat more on rough roads. Too low and you're pedaling through mud basically, plus flats happen way easier.

Stop by South Lake Cyle and we'll check it out to make sure you have a smooth ride ready tires.

Thank you to the all the Tour de Tonka volunteers, staff, and nearly 3,000 riders from across Minnesota and the nation, including 44 states for today's event.

We are proud to provide a bike support station and help all of the riders who stopped by!

Tour de Tonka partners with the Food Shelf and a portion of every rider's registration fee is donated to the ICA. Since 2006, Tour de Tonka has contributed over $106,000 to support the ICA's mission. Participants are also encouraged to donate money or non-perishable food items on or before the event day to make an incredible impact.

Remaining proceeds benefit Minnetonka Community Education Youth and Early Childhood programs.

Join us this Sunday, July 26th, for a relaxed and fun ride with South Lake Cycle and .

This once-a-month ride is designed to be fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly, with an emphasis on building community, learning group riding skills, and enjoying local events and destinations together.

See you Sunday at the start location at 8:30am Channel Brewing, 4787 Shoreline Dr, Spring Park, MN.

Ride starts at 9am and we'll have a relaxes 18 mile ride to Lake Waconia and back. All experience levels welcome.
