Another amazing weekend of fights in the books! Coy Deboer showed up big time for his debut getting the submission in the first round! Cale Roelfeson had a really tough fight against a solid opponent and ended up tkod with injuries. Later on Coy got Submission of the night and Cale got fight of the night! On Saturday Angel Ponce stepped in the Caged Aggression lineup for the first time against a heavily favored opponent with a UFC vet brother and came out with a huge win by submission in the 3rd round! Thank you to Mike Goodwin for another amazing event and thank you to all who came down to support our guys and watched the ppv from home! You all make us who we are!!

Iowa MMA has lost a legend. Justin Faiferlick was many things - a soldier, coach, gym owner and I recently learned he was a Volunteer Deputy Sheriff. To me and my team he was a mentor and a friend. When we first started in Alta, Coach Faiferlick was always there for my team offering training, advice and even helping us land our first fights at big promotions like LFA. He was instrumental in us growing from a small local gym into what we are today. He’s the only coach I’ve met who had as much love for his athletes as I do for mine. You will be greatly missed Coach but everytime our team takes the cage you will be with us because you are part of us. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough. God bless you Coach.
