๐๐ EVERGREEN STRONG. FOREVER. ๐๐
Today marks one year since our world changed.
One year ago, we were simply our everyday selves โ students walking through the doors of school, teachers and staff beginning another day, families going about their lives, friends laughing and making memories.
We walked in that morning thinking it was just another day.
It wasnโt.
A year ago, today, everything changed the way we looked at our school, our community, and most importantly, each other.
We walk differently now.
We speak differently.
We think differently.
We love a little deeper.
We hold our people a little closer.
And we notice the things we may have once taken for granted.
What happened that day that brought us together in ways we never could have imagined โ as a community, a family, a student body, friends, teachers, coaches, and staff.
We learned that we are stronger when we stand together.
That showing up matters.
That kindness matters.
That people matter.
We will never walk the halls the same way we did before that day.
And while we would give anything to erase the pain and heartbreak that changed us, I wouldnโt want to walk any differently than the way weโve learned to walk now.
With more compassion.
With more gratitude.
With more love.
With more courage.
TOGETHER .
Because Evergreen isnโt just a place.
Evergreen is US.
