The weekend is the best training window most of us get — so use it.

Our Basic Fi***rm Safety Course runs 7 days a week, including Saturday and Sunday, in small classes at our indoor range in Everett. Hands-on time on real fi****ms, a live-fire option, and the certificate you need for a MA LTC or FID. Already licensed? A weekend refresher resets the habits that keep you safe: marksmanship, handling, storage.

And one more thing before the weekend: Question 9 is a veto referendum on the 2024 gun law — a NO vote on November 3 repeals it. Early voting is open now through October 30.

Book your seat at www.bostonfi****ms.com — and vote NO on Question 9 on November 3.

Monday morning question: when did you last train?

Your license does not expire with your skills — but your skills fade on their own. Grip, sight alignment, trigger press, safe handling: it all dulls in months without practice. A basic safety course teaches the rules. Training turns the rules into instinct.

Our classes run 7 days a week, in small groups, with hands-on time on real fi****ms and a live-fire option at our indoor range in Everett. The Basic Fi***rm Safety Course certifies you for a MA LTC or FID — and it is the place to keep sharpening what you already know.

Trained, licensed gun owners are the responsible core of this community. Be one of them.

Question 9 is a veto referendum on the 2024 gun law (Chapter 135): a NO vote repeals it. But here is what does not change either way — Massachusetts still requires a license to own or carry, and safety training to get one. Repeal the law and the pre-2024 rules remain, among the strictest in the country: licenses required, safety training required, sales tracked, red-flag petitions in place.

The 2024 law adds burdens on lawful owners — serialization requirements, expanded bans, a real-time registry — without creating the training standard. Training was required before this law, and it stays required whether the law is repealed or not.

So whatever happens on Nov 3, do the thing you control today: get trained and stay trained. Our Basic Fi***rm Safety Course runs 7 days a week in small classes at our indoor range in Everett — hands-on time on real fi****ms, and the certificate you need for your MA LTC or FID.

Mid-week training tip: dry-fire practice is free, takes five minutes, and builds real skill.

UNLOADED fi***rm — triple-check it, and keep all am******on in another room. Pick a small target on the wall. From your normal stance, press the trigger slowly and smoothly. The goal: the sights do not move when the shot "breaks." If they dip, you are anticipating the recoil. Ten slow, perfect reps beat a hundred sloppy ones.

Trigger control is the skill that fades fastest between range trips — and it is the one that matters most. Live fire tests what dry practice builds.

Our Basic Fi***rm Safety Course gives you hands-on time on real fi****ms, with a live-fire option at our indoor range in Everett, and your certificate for a MA LTC or FID. Classes run 7 days a week in small sizes.

Saturday habits check — the four rules that never expire:

1. Treat every fi***rm as loaded.
2. Finger off the trigger until you're on target and ready to fire.
3. Muzzle pointed in a safe direction, always.
4. Know your target — and what's beyond it.

These aren't beginner rules you outgrow. They're what keep you, your family, and everyone at the range safe, every single time. At home: stored unloaded, locked up, am******on separate. A trained owner is a safe owner.

Our Basic Fi***rm Safety Course in Everett builds these habits from day one — hands-on training on real fi****ms with a live-fire option, small classes 7 days a week.

At Boston Fi****ms, we believe you should not get your license to carry (LTC) without actually handling a fi***rm. You wouldn’t have your driver’s license if you didn’t practice at driving school first. Why should getting a fi****ms license be any different? Come train at our indoor range, and...

A license isn't a skill. And a right you don't defend is a privilege they'll take.

Most gun owners train once — for the license — and never again. Skills fade in months. Stress, malfunctions, low light: the range doesn't prepare you for any of it unless you keep showing up.

And right now the fight isn't just on the range. Question 9 is on the November 3 ballot — a veto referendum on the 2024 gun law. Vote NO to repeal it.

Train like your rights depend on it. Then vote like they do

Getting your license was step one. Staying sharp is everything after.

Here is the honest truth: a basic safety course teaches you the rules, but it does not make you a confident, capable gun owner. Training does. Regular practice. Live fire. Handling real fi****ms until safety is instinct, not a checklist.

That is why our classes are built around hands-on training with real fi****ms at our indoor range in Everett. Small classes, 7 days a week, so you can keep training on your schedule.

Skills fade. Confidence does not have to. Keep training.
