Back out on Lake Eufaula this morning fishing with Danny, Carter and Kayden. These two boys are quite the fishermen. They're even on their school fishing team and have both caught largemouth over 9 lbs. Believe me that's a great accomplishment. This group has been on my boat several times over the years and I always look forward to seeing them and hearing their stories. All white bass today we had to move around to several places to find them but once we were on them it was non-stop action. Out on Lake Eufaula this morning. Today I was fishing with Wayne Brandy Anthony and Bentley. Today they were out catching White Bass along the river channels. The fish were really on the move this morning. This was a very fun trip. I got a kick out of all of them catching white bass two at a time. Bentley holds the record today for the smallest fish and the largest fish pictured. A little Sandy and a big Blue catfish at the dock. Out on the hunt this morning. I've been taking people white bass fishing catfishing and spoonbill fishing over the last month or so and I haven't had a chance to go look for any Crappie. So I figured with my Crappie trips coming up soon I better go see what's going on. I found lots of fish today but man were they finicky and deep. Most of the fish I caught were 15 to 20 ft deep. I used nothing but hair jigs today that's about all I use year around when fishing by myself. I do have minnows on the boat for my clients. They really make a difference sometimes. I ended my trip this morning before it got hot with my 20 fish limit. This Crappie in the picture was my last fish of the day. I hope everyone's having a good day. Lending a helping hand this morning. Today I was on Lake Tenkiller helping my good friend Rocky Thomas of Thomas guide service with his corporate group. Everyone showed up about 7:30 this morning they all loaded up and off we went. It was a very peaceful and relaxing morning. Today we were trolling for white bass on the edges of the channels. A lot of double hookups this morning made for a lot of fun. Rocky I'd like to thank you for letting me help you out. Another fantastic morning on Lake Eufaula. Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Alan his son Scott and daughter Jillian who are vacationing with their families here at Carlton landing. I picked them up at the Carlton Marina bright and early and we headed to our first spot. As luck would have it the fish were there. It was non-stop action. All catch and release today made for a short day for me. I don't know how many times this morning they all had doubles on. I believe it was a first for all of them. Back out on Lake Eufaula this morning. What a fun group this was. Today I was fishing with Ashley, Kirk, Landon, Selah and Noel of the Oklahoma City area. I was informed when they got on the boat that they hadn't fished in a very long time. But we're wanting to get back into the sport. Well today they all made up for lost time and filled the boat with some nice Lake Eufaula White Bass. It was pretty much non-stop action all morning. Little Selah was really getting into fishing. I believe she caught the first fish the most fish and the last fish. With their grandpa Noel catching the largest fish of the day. Another exciting day on Lake Eufaula. Today I had the Holleman Crew Ott & Ott. This Father and son team put a whooping on the White Bass this morning. They were slinging in fish so fast it was hard for me to keep up. Fish were flopping everywhere. A lot of double hookups made for a fun morning. They filled the ice chest up in about an hour then it was catch and release the rest of the trip. Little Ott caught a couple small catfish while he was white bass fishing that he was pretty proud of. I told him when we got back to the marina I had a treat for him. The smiles in the photos says it all. He now has a new PB Catfish. Out on Lake Eufaula this morning doing a little Catfishing with Zachary and Noah and their two boys. Zachary booked his trip about a month ago and was wanting to do some catfishing. I'm like sure. Let's go. These guys flat put a hurting on them. It was pretty much non-stop action the entire trip. There were several times they both had catfish on at the same time. Back Crappie fishing on Lake Eufaula this morning with Brent and Wyatt. These two guys have been lifelong friends and love to catch Crappie. I can't remember how many times they've been on my boat over the years but every time they schedule a trip I know it's going to be a great day. Well today was no different. Today they were catching Crappie in 10 to 20 ft of water most of the fish were pretty deep on structure. Pretty much all jig fishing today. I did have minnows on board but they wanted no part of them. We ended the trip with the guys getting their limits. Then it was back to the marina to clean their catch. Back on Lake Eufaula doing a little Catfishing with my grandson Brennon after my guide trip yesterday. We only stayed out there about an hour and a half because of the heat. But we were able to try out my new planer boards and catch some really nice Catfish. He caught eight nice blue Catfish between 4 and 8 lbs. Brennon even had one Catfish on that probably would have weighed 15lbs or so. But it got off right at the boat. It's really got him fired up to go back. It was a fun day especially when he had two going at the same time. I'm looking forward to going back and doing it again. All our fish were immediately released.
