I just want to thank everyone that's been calling and texting me today to make sure that we were all okay. As by now most of you have heard that Eufaula Cove Marina got hit hard last night by a storm with a lot of damage. A lot of people have been asking about my boat. I keep my boat in my shop at our home and all we had here was rain and a little wind. I went to the Marina to check my boat slip this afternoon and everything there was just the way I left it. I kind of couldn't believe it seeing all the damage. Just 200 feet down the dock was major damage. The marina ship store gas pumps Tumbleweeds restaurant and all the walkways out front looked okay as far as I could tell. Everyone down there was in good spirits and had workers everywhere cleaning up preparing to fix the place back up. I will still be running my guide trips all summer and fall out of the Marina as normal. Here's a few pictures I took on our dock and some of the damage just down the way. Thank you again for thinking about us. I really do appreciate it. You all have a good one.

Well it's been a fun three days of fishing with Daniel Wendy and David from Minnesota. I heard so many stories from their fishing Adventures across the country. Great folks and fun times. Daniel really tried to use his tackle most of the time and he did good catching some nice fish. They do a lot of trolling and long lining where they live so we gave it a try as well. No luck catching any Crappie but they tore up the Largemouths and Sand Bass LOL. Most of there fish they caught over the last 3 days were on structure or around rocks in 10 to 12 ft of water. They used a combination of jigs and once in a while they would tip it a minnow. Daniel I'd like to thank you all for using my Outdoor Adventure Guide Service. Back on Lake Eufaula this morning fishing with Daniel Wendy and David not pictured from Minnesota on day two of the 3-day trip. They're loving this Oklahoma weather. Yesterday 30 mph winds. Today was more enjoyable with light winds and Crappie willing to bite. They used nothing but jigs today. Daniel even brought some jigs he uses in Minnesota that did pretty good as well. The fish were a little shallower today 10 to 12 ft on bottom. It was a fun day. I'd like to thank you all for using my Outdoor Adventure Guide Service. Back on Lake Eufaula this morning Crappie fishing with Marlina Johnny Cathy and Josh this was a very fun trip. The Crappie were a little stubborn this morning they didn't want to bite. But they all hung in there and got a good mess of fish. Johnny hooked into something. We think it was a big flat head he had it on for a while then it came off. His hook was completely straightened out. Cathy hooked into a really nice Largemouth that put up a really good fight. Hair jigs and minnows today put the fish in the boat. Wow! What a fun morning on Lake Eufaula fishing with Joseph and Hannah and their two boys Cooper and Gavin from Mustang Oklahoma. Another Sand Bass Roundup they all did great this morning catching some nice Lake Eufaula White bass. Most of the fish came off jigs we did use some minnows and swim baits. All the boys did excellent with the spinning reels they could really cast those things. Joseph I'd like to thank you and your wife Hannah for using my Outdoor Adventure Guide Service. Back on Lake Eufaula this morning fishing with Robyn and her two grandsons Jax and Jet they all did great today catching a variety of fish. We about got in a big storm but we ran South to get away from the weather. And spend about an hour underneath 69 bridge while it poured rain. Then it was back to fishing they caught everything today White bass Crappie Largemouth bass and Jax caught one huge Flat head catfish that honestly took him 15 minutes to get into the boat on the light tackle He did a great job. Overall it was a great day then it was back to the marina to clean all the fish while Jax ended up catching about another five or six nice catfish. Back on Lake Eufaula this morning Crappie fishing with Bruce and Rusty. Our morning started off with very strong winds which stopped me from going to several of the spots that we have been fishing. But we hit some old spots and the fish were there the guys did really good catching some nice Lake Eufaula crappie. Most of there fish came off structure in 10 to 12 ft of water. All hair jigs today these boys didn't need no minnows. Bruce and Rusty I'd like to thank both of you for using my Outdoor Adventure Guide Service it was a fun morning. Crappie fishing on Lake Eufaula this morning with Jeff and his wife Elizabeth. These two were really cool and fun to fish with. They both did excellent this morning catching crappie over structure in 10 to 14 ft of water they used a combination of hair jigs that were tipped with minnows. We moved around today quite a bit seems like you would pull up on a pile catch two or three then we would move on to the next pile and do the same thing. A little windy but it was a great day to be on the lake. Out on Lake Eufaula this morning fishing with Tyler Zach and Denver from Central Oklahoma. It was another combo trip. Chasing White Bass in the morning then we went crappie fishing after that. A very windy day on Lake Eufaula. They did way better on the crappie than they did the white bass after the storms and the water coming up. They just weren't surfacing like they have been. All the guys did great today and had a good time. Tyler I would like to thank all you guys for using my Outdoor Adventure Guide Service it was a pleasure having you all out there today.
