GOOD STUFF ALERT — STATE MEET EDITION

State Track & Field meet 2026 finished up last evening after two lengthy weather delays… but, that couldn’t hold our ESKO Tracksters from shining!

What a weekend! Six ALL STATE performances with six ESKO Tracksters earning ALL STATE Honors:

Ben Schmitz — 110m Hurdles (3rd place) & Long Jump (9th)
Maya Johnson — Discus (7th place) & Shot Put (6th place)
Naiya Ruuska — 800m (4th place)
4x800m relay: (3rd place)

Congratulations to our Girls 4x800m relay for running the 2nd fastest time in school history!

Special congratulations to our Girls 4x100m relay (Eilee Straub / Whitney Hanson / Paiton Plante / Addy Parrott) for running the 2nd fastest time in school history as well, but just missing State Finals!

Easily a State Meet to remember… so much to be proud of… the perfect end to a special season.

Our ESKO Tracksters over the season achieved so much and shared all those moments with cheering and support from their teammates along the way…

The Esko girls track team won its third-straight Section 7A track meet last week, while Two Harbors staved off the Esko boys for the title. The meet was held at the University of Minnesota Duluth last Wednesday, May 27, in ideal conditions for athletes trying to earn their way to the state meet June...
