As we prep the Mk3 38 car for endurance races coming up, one of the pieces of the puzzle is lighting. We really believe in a designed lighting system, that puts light where you need it, and tries to not just blast everything.

Our 3rd run at these lights is very similar to our past builds. We use the aftermarket housing because it gives us a complete open lens and housing for placement.

We immediately gut the housing, cut and mount the steel plate, and locate the lights.

We are using a combo of KC Flex Era 3 spots and spot/floods for the main lights. We add the KC Flex Era 1 for flood fill and pit road lighting. And finally we add the C2 flood beam for edge/apex lighting.

When lit, these will beautifully light the track, provide great flexibility for using these as signal lights, and they fit in the stock locations with zero aero penalty.

Sunday 7 hour at report

That’s GP2 win #3 on the year! The whole Palomar group delivered an awesome effort and a much deserved result after the issue on Saturday. It was a tight battle against the #779 GR86 through the middle portions of the race. At the end, we prevailed in a P13 overall finish and P4 against the GP1 field.

Well executed stints from starting to and Greg in the middle with to finish. Stops by and Kenny, spotting from , engineering and tech by , and strategy by .

We head next to our ‘home races’ at Thunderhill Raceway Park in April!
