What a season to celebrate and a reason to “Raise Your Paddle”! After everything Hurricane Helene brought our way, being back on the Nolichucky and sharing it with all of our guest this past season meant the world to all of us Outfitters and Guides!
A big thank you to Northeast Tennessee, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, and Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce for bringing all the outfitters together and recognizing a successful return to the Nolichucky River Gorge.
On October 28, we joined the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development to celebrate our incredible Nolichucky River rafting community through Raise Your Paddle! After Hurricane Helene devastated the landscape in late 2024, our river, surrounding communities, and outdoor recreation industry faced tremendous challenges.
This celebration honored the resilience, dedication, and determination of the rafters and local businesses who continue to keep the spirit of the Nolichucky alive. We are proud to stand alongside those who are rebuilding, restoring, and sharing the beauty of Northeast Tennessee with the world.
Here’s to our river, our people, and a future filled with adventure!
