NEMX at Jolly’s! Perfect weather ☀️ and very minimal pictures 🤪
We struggled with some bike issues most of the day, but we were able to get it right for her last two motos. Aleigha got her first DNF of the season & it was no fault of her own, her bike just didn’t want to cooperate! After some tears, a pep talk, & some mechanical work, she went out for her last two motos & pushed. A track that was once her least favorite she now enjoys!
65 age: 9-DNF 10th OA
65 open: 13-12 11th OA
Girls: 9-7 7th OA

Aleigha raced a new track this weekend - Paradox MX! Despite the muddy mess & rain (what else is new), she had so much fun!! Actually, we all did 😁 Fishing in between practice & racing was a bonus 🎣 then running around with her friends all evening throughout the beautiful property! Sundays race day started out nice then the rain decided to play a part in the day ☔️ 65 age 10-7; 9th OA. 65 open 12-13; 13th OA. Girls 8-8; 8th OA. Her battles were a lot of fun to watch this weekend - her speed is getting better each week! We can’t wait to go back to this track ✊🏽

After 4 years of racing, Aleigha got her first ever moto win (TWICE in one day)!! 65 open 1-6 for 4th OA went down in her second moto, 65 age she went 7-1 3rd OA went down again in the mud & lost her plastics (they were found thanks to a friend!), & girls she went 2-7 4th OA with yet ANOTHER crash that ended up with a nice shiner on her thigh, but she got back up & pushed!! It was an absolute mud fest & the track was brutal! She never gave up once. It was a long, wet day & totally worth the endless loads of laundry to see that smile 😊

Memorial Day weekend didn’t go as planned at WSP.. thanks Mother Nature! Our double header ended up being a one day race due to rain, but Aleigha had some improvements! 65 open has always been a tough class for her with a lot of fast competition. She hit a goal of being in the finishing top ten in moto 2! 65 open 15-10 for 11th OA (out of 25!), 65 age 7-7 7th OA, and girls she was super consistent going 5-5 for 5th OA. Aleigha’s riding has been getting better and better each race & we are so proud of her determination!

Aleigha had an awesome race day at MX207! Lots of fast kids from NEMX & Maine Motocross. She had some great competition & battles! Super impressed with her riding. 9-8 65 age 7th OA, 9-10 girls 10th OA, 15-12 65 open 11 OA (out of 26!!). She pushed hard. Can’t wait for a double header next weekend to celebrate Memorial Day! 🏁

Sunday funday at Canaan for their first race of the season!! Aleigha had an AWESOME 🤩 DAY!
65 age 4-3 3rd overall, 65 open 6-4 5th overall, and girls 3-2 2nd overall. We are so proud of her! She had some really awesome starts, passes, and even went down and made up her time & positions. Love watching her progress unfold.
