🚨 update at 1:20pm-- We are unfortuantly going to have to postpone today's memorial race. The track just isn't drying out enough. Mondays race looks like we should be fine. As of now this race will be rescheduled to June 29th. 🚨
Good Morning all. We are doing everything we can to try and still have the Logan Ruffridge Memorial Race this evening. From the many inches of rain we received over the past few days, the track is doing considerably well compared to other parks and tracks in the area. The biggest problem area right now being turn 2. It has been raked and roughed up and now its just a matter of whether it will dry out enough. There is also the potential for thunderstorms/rain expected right around race time. The best I can say at this point is we will check the track again and forecast around 12/1pm and provide an update to this post.
If we do have to postpone, we have discussed with his family and it will be rescheduled on Monday June 29th. For now, stay tuned and we will be updating by 1pm.
