🏁💙 CEDAR RAPIDS BMX VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT AMY RYAN! 💙🏁

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Amy Ryan, someone whose dedication to Cedar Rapids BMX goes far beyond what most people see!

Amy didn’t start BMX until her family moved here and her daughter Maddi got involved. She’s now been racing for about 3 years, but cycling definitely isn’t new to her! Before BMX, Amy raced road bikes, competed in triathlons, and even completed two Ironmans! 🚴‍♀️💪

You’ll also find Amy helping out around the track, announcing on weeknights, cheering on our riders, and jumping in wherever she can. But a lot of what Amy does happens behind the scenes. She works hard to balance the track with being an amazing mom making sure her girls get to soccer, swimming, and everything else they love while also helping make it possible for Dan to give so much of his time to the track.

And somehow, through all of it, Amy is always smiling! 😊

🏁 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STRIDER SERIES CHAMPION, LOCHLAN MCINTIRE! 🏁

Lochlan wrapped up the Strider Series in a BIG way, taking home the championship and a brand-new bike! 🚲
