Four years ago, Team Fitz athlete Allison Greer faced one of the biggest challenges of her life—a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis.
A diagnosis like that brings challenges most people will never fully understand. Daily monitoring, constant discipline, and obstacles that never take a day off.
But Alli made a decision.
She refused to let a diagnosis define who she is or what she could accomplish.
Over the last four years, she has continued to show up, put in the work, overcome adversity, and pursue her goals with determination and resilience. Through it all, she has remained committed to becoming her best—both on and off the basketball court—as she continues to pursue her goal of playing college basketball.
Strength isn’t just measured by how much weight you lift or how high you jump. Sometimes it’s measured by the courage to keep moving forward when life presents challenges that would cause others to quit.
We’re proud of you Alli. Your story is a powerful reminder to all of us that adversity doesn’t define us—our response to it does. 💪🏼❤️🏀
