Another three win day for Fair Hill trainers, all at Delaware Park.

Graham Motion started the roll with Indian Pharoah - another 2-year-old - winning the third race and breaking his maiden in his second start.

Following suit, 2-year-old Misses Boots, trained and co-owned by Keri Brion, won her debut in the 5th race on the card.

And then Madison Meyers scored in the 7th when Wicked Boss held off a strong closing bid by Intolerable to win an SOC on the turf.

Congrats to all three teams!

Happy Labor Day. Two of our favorite summer meets came to a close today, with both Saratoga and Colonial Downs running their final cards of the season.

Another very busy day for Fair Hill barns, and those 2-year-olds continue to hit the mark. Michael Matz kicked off the day at Monmouth Park winning their first race with SUN VALLEY. Fifteen minutes later, Keri Brion scored her first Kentucky Downs victory with SEA ISLE CITY in their second race.

Arnaud Delacour had a big day at Colonial, taking their second race on the card with another 2-year-old, OVERTIME RULES. He followed that up with an exciting win by LENNOX THE GREY in one of the featured stakes, the Old Dominion Derby-G3.

Plenty of runners on this Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, and we have wins to celebrate.

Mike Trombetta’s SOUPER FORCES, a homebred for Live Oak Plantation, scored in the Red Bank Stakes at Monmouth Park.

At Colonial Downs, SALLY MACLENNANE won the 5th race on the card for Keri Brion - another 2-year-old winner!

Lastly at Saratoga, the Disco Partner Stakes turned into a thrilling battle to the wire between another Trombetta trainee, Determined Kingdom, and Lizzie Merryman’s JEAN VALJEAN, the winner. Two classy older turf sprinters really threw down for the Fair Hill exacta!

We might not have winners to celebrate from Saturday’s racing, but we do want to honor the fantastic performance by Cal Lynch’s HARPER’S CORNER in the Spinaway Stakes-G1 at Saratoga. The daughter of Speaker’s Corner ran a sparkling race to finish second to runaway winner Summer Starlet in a field of highly regarded 2-year-old fillies. Harper’s Corner was two-for-two going into the Spinaway; she won the Schuylerville Stakes at Saratoga on July 3. She’s been trained exclusively here at Fair Hill.

On that subject, Fair Hill has produced an impressive thirteen 2-year-old winners as of this date. In fact, just this past week four of those youngsters won their debuts: Brittany Russell’s Bellablaze and Hidden Overture; Keri Brion’s Sunny Bird, and Graham Motion’s Ocean Highway.

Further proof that horses thrive at Fair Hill. 🏇

Happy to report four wins for our Fair Hill horsemen today! (Horsewomen, to be more precise….)

Two were 2-year-old first-time starters who dominated on debut: BELLABLAZE in the 8th race at Colonial Downs for Brittany Russell; and SUNNY BIRD who gave trainer Keri Brion and her ownership group a huge thrill in the 4th race at Saratoga.

Brittany scored at Delaware Park as well, taking the 4th race there with HIDDEN OVERTURE. And Madison Meyers’ Ballyerin Racing squad got their picture taken after Colonial’s 7th race with PHIL’S PRINCE.

Big congrats to all! 🏇

A quiet Wednesday for FHTC runners, but the last of the day gave us a win.

The fast-closing FLETCHER, trained by Chuck Lawrence, was put up for the win after a lengthy inquiry in Penn National’s 3rd race after Whisper Roar impeded him just before the wire.

Congrats to Chuck for carrying the day! 🏇
