🏆 Congratulations to Elgin’s own Ritson Meyer!

Ritson Meyer has been selected as the 2026 Jim Thorpe High School Player of the Year in Boys Wrestling by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.

Ritson will be honored and recognized for this outstanding accomplishment with a commemorative plaque presented at the annual All-Sports and Scholar Athlete Awards Ceremony.

This recognition reflects not only Ritson’s exceptional athletic ability, but also his hard work, resilience, leadership, and character both on and off the mat.

Congratulations, Ritson! Way to represent Elgin and the wrestling community with excellence!

Day 1 of Wrestling Camp was a huge success! A big thank you to Connection Church Elgin for helping our wrestlers cool off after their session with popsicles!

We’ve still got two more days of camp left! Whether your child is trying wrestling for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, we’d love to see them join us tomorrow!

So proud of Talon for this incredible opportunity!

Talon has qualified to compete at the Junior National Duals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he’ll have the honor of representing Elgin High School on the national stage.
