Cardinal Community - Ready or not, here it comes!! The new school year is upon us and you know what that means - another year of Cardinal Comets Athletics!!

Meet the Comets will be held on Thursday, August 20, outside the Activity Center, on the track at 6:30 pm. This event is for High School Volleyball, Band, Cross Country, Football and Football Cheer. Please make sure to join the aClub, and all that we support as we serve dinner for a free will donation. We will also have our ANNUAL Tailgate Auction after introductions after the teams. Make sure to see Maria Bissell or Michelle Edwards for your bidding number after you grab some food.

We can't wait to see everyone!

21 YEARS.

That’s how long it’s been since Cardinal Softball has made it to the state tournament.

I truly don’t have the words to describe how proud I am of this team. From day one, these girls bought into the vision, trusted the process, and committed to being something special. They showed up every single day ready to work, embraced every challenge, and never stopped believing in each other.

This moment wasn’t given to us—it was earned. Through early mornings, late nights, countless practices, adversity, and an incredible amount of heart, these girls have completely changed the history of this program.

To every player, coach, parent, alumni, and fan who has supported Cardinal Softball over the past 21 years, thank you. This is for everyone who has believed this day would come.

We are STATE BOUND, and I couldn’t be more proud to be their coach.

The job isn’t finished yet. ❤️🖤🥎

What has the aClub been up to? Well let me just tell you!
We filled a request for the Volleyball team for TWENTY new balls to support their upcoming camp, $1000 was given to the Baseball team for meals, and $500 was given to the softball team for snacks.

Coaches: Keep reaching out and sending those requests, whether you are in season or not. We love to support our athletics.

2026 aClub End of Year All Sports Banquet - Thank you to the donor of the meat - JBS, and Mr. Becker and thank you to the people who cooked the meat, prepped the rest of the meal, Justin Oswalt, and his hospitality class, as well as helping with decor. Thank you Mr. Becker for being our MC. Thank you to the coaches, athletes and families for continuing to support us.
