Welcome to Elk Mountain Ultimate Summer league 2026! This is going to be a long email, but please read it carefully as TONIGHT, will be the first night of league this year! Please do not come up to us and tell us, “oh that email, yeah I saw it and didn’t read it.”
Short version/To do list for you lazy email non-readers:
Fill out this form (don’t be bashful with how great you are)
Pay $30 league dues to on venmo to -Cawley-3 or bring cash to fields
Pack your light/dark and cleats/running shoes

Registration:
Here is the form we need you to fill out
Please fill it out before arriving Monday, June 15 or else you will have to fill it out at the field. Do your best to rate yourself, and don’t be modest about how incredibly talented or fit you all are! Also don’t fret too much as the algorithm we use is smart and adjusts you throughout the season.
What to bring:
Bring navy/dark shirt and a white* shirt, cleats/running shoes, water, and your positive attitude! There will be other things you can bring to get points that we mention below.
(*White does not mean gray, light gray, light blue, it means white)
How our league works:
Our summer league operates in a pick up format. What does this mean? Glad you asked! Instead of forming distinct teams that you play with throughout the season, we make new teams every week depending on who shows up. Luckily, we have a super cool algorithm that our technologist in residence, the wonderful Karl Doedge, built that keeps the teams fair. If you’re not on your team with your best friend, it’s not because we don’t like you. Throughout the season you accumulate points based on things like showing up, winning, spirit, etc. and at the end of the season we announce a “winning team” based on the top point scorers at the end of season party.
How to get points:
Each of the following will get you one point
Showing up for the night
Winning the game
Bringing a shareable snack or beverage
Driving from outside of the Aspen-Glenwood zone (including Marble, Paonia, R***e, etc.) Make sure to let us know if this is you
Setting up the field
Taking down the field
Spirit points for good demonstrations of spirit!
Being cleated and ready by 6:00pm
Now, if you want to get 2 points:
Bring a new friend (be sure to let us know)
Be the new friend who was brought (be sure to let us know)
Dates and timing
League will run from June 15-September 14 this year! League will begin at 6pm, but if you’re bones are aging like mine, you may want to show up earlier for an extended warm up. There are usually several folks there by 5:30 to throw and warm up with. It also gives you a chance to gain a point for being cleated by 6, set up the field, and be there, that’s starting off the night with 3 points.
Payment:
League this year will cost $30. To pay you use venmo (-Cawley-3), check, or cash. This will get you a reversible your first year, which is funded by us. Let us know your size after payment.
Location:
Crown Mountain Park, located in El Jebel, Colorado. Look for the flying discs!
Expectations:
Ultimate frisbee is a sport governed by 'spirit of the game.’ We make our own calls, we resolve conflicts with kindness and communication, and we do our best to adhere to fairness based on the rules of the game. Basically, be a good kind human on the field and know we’re all there to have fun and create community. None of this spiking nonsense we see after every point in the AUDL and college nowadays.
