Meet Ben Richburg, PGA Assistant Golf Professional at Braemar!

Ben has been golfing since age 4 and has a passion for helping golfers improve their game, whether they’re picking up a club for the first time or working to take their game to the next level. He’s currently enrolled in the PGA PGM Associate Program and brings an athlete’s mindset to the course after playing collegiate soccer at Bethel University.

Edina native and PGA Assistant Golf Professional Alex Holgerson grew up playing right here at Braemar. Now he’s helping golfers of all ages and abilities improve their game while working toward becoming a PGA Class A Member.

Congratulations to PGA Director of Golf Tommy Koehler and his team on winning the Minnesota PGA Pro-Junior 12 & Under Division! 🏆

The team of Mason Holland, Decklan Melander and Ollie Voeller shot 4-under in the 9-hole scramble, with Mason sinking an incredible 30-foot putt on the final hole to secure the victory!

Way to represent Braemar, Tommy, Mason, Decklan and Ollie! 👏

What’s in the Bag with Greg Ross!⛳
Originally from Spruce Grove, Alberta, Greg brought his love of the game to Braemar after 15 years in North Dakota. A former collegiate baseball player and lifelong athlete, Greg turned his passion for golf into a new career and is currently working toward becoming a PGA Professional through the PGA PGM Associate Program.

Heads up!

Starting Wednesday, July 29, Braemar Boulevard will be closed to through traffic for roadwork related to the expansion of the Braemar Golf Dome parking lot and addition of seasonal practice pickleball courts.

Access to Braemar Arena & Field and the South Metro Public Safety Training Facility will be maintained. Drivers heading to those destinations can pass the “Closed to Thru Traffic” sign at U.S. 169 Frontage Road and Braemar Boulevard. No other traffic is allowed. (Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.)

Anyone wishing to reach Braemar Golf Course from the west or south should use Valley View Road. There will be no access via Braemar Boulevard.

Work is anticipated to last through Aug. 28.

The dates and times on this work are tentative based on weather conditions and subject to change.
