The world's largest bike maker just threw a party in New York - and there's a good chance you've never heard of them.
Chinese manufacturer XDS says it shipped 8 million bikes in 2025, mostly building them under contract for other brands. Now it's pushing its own label, X-Lab, which landed in US bike shops in April and sells 98% through dealers rather than direct to consumers.
At the company's House of Motion event in NYC, dealers said their biggest problem is keeping the bikes in stock. The brand plans to grow its US lineup to 20 models next year, spanning road, gravel, MTB, urban, and e-bikes. An accessory line is set to follow too.
