As another incredible Edenton Steamers season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who made this year so special.
To our fans, thank you for packing Historic Hicks Field all summer long. Whether you were there every night or made it to just one game, your energy and support created one of the best atmospheres in the ONSL. You are the heartbeat of this organization.
To our sponsors, thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our team and community. Your generosity allows us to provide an unforgettable experience for our players, fans, and families, and we truly couldn’t do it without you.
To our host families, volunteers, board members, game day staff, and everyone who worked behind the scenes, thank you for the countless hours, sacrifices, and dedication you gave throughout the season. So much of what makes this organization successful happens when no one is watching, and your efforts never go unnoticed.
To our coaches and players, thank you for representing Edenton positively every single day.
This was a season to remember. Our Steamers finished 31-14, captured the Tidewater Championship, hit 56 home runs, had four ONSL All-Stars, and our very own Jude Morton made league history by earning both ONSL MVP and Defensive MVP honors.
While we’re proud of the accomplishments on the field, what makes this organization truly special is the people behind it. Every fan in the stands, every sponsor, every volunteer, every host family, and every person who supported us played a role in this unforgettable season.
